I believe in the power of education as a form of climate action.  As a mother of two, I believe that our children need to be outside in direct contact with nature and eco-systems, allowing them to better appreciate our dependence and its fragility. As a Pact Ambassador I would like to make education for sustainable development more present in the minds of Luxembourg residents, both through community-led initiatives and school curriculums.  I will work to leverage my existing network in the field of sustainability to further the vision for NaturED by working with the students at the University of Luxembourg through my work at CELL. Finally, I hope to leverage connections through the European Schools of Luxembourg in order to gain buy-in from the teaching community on the benefits of outdoor education as an experiential learning method and its integration into curriculums and the syllabus. 

I am a PhD candidate in Climate Change and Sustainable Development Policies at the University of Lisbon, engaged in research about the role of children in climate-related public policies. Children are bearing the consequences of climate change, they are worried and willing to take action: adults need to create mechanisms so that their views are taken into account by political leaders and policymakers. In parallel, I teach climate change to elderly people in my community (UNISSEIXAL).

Passionate about dialogue in difficult situations, I have worked in more than 20 countries across Europe and Asia, learning that real change begins with listening. As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I want to bring this spirit into climate action—showing that the green transition is also about dignity, decent work, and a healthy life for communities. I believe that climate justice must grow from people’s everyday hopes and struggles.

I am passionate about climate action and sustainability, actively engaging in initiatives to address environmental issues. As a European Climate Pact Ambassador, I plan to promote sustainable practices through educational workshops, community outreach, and digital campaigns. My focus is on empowering individuals and organizations to make informed decisions that contribute to a greener future, fostering environmental stewardship across communities and sectors.

I am a climate activist with 4 years of experience in working in the field of communication with NGOs. My main skills is communication, in the sense of giving visibility and delivering a message adapted to a specific audience. 
I use social media to communicate about climate action. I managed to gather a community of more than 30.000 persons.

I think there is an urgent need for raising awareness about climate change and climate actions. This is what I am planning to do as an Ambassador.

As an environmental expert that focuses on nature restoration, biodiversity in grasslands and sustainable agriculture, my call to take action against climate change is linked to nature directly and also green infrastructure. I am dedicated to motivate people, especially youngsters, to connect more to nature to gain a deep understanding of natural systems and their importance to sustain our everyday lives. I want to help people see that we need to cooperate and integrate our lifestyles within the environment and climate, not tear it down. 

With 30+ years in strategic communications, I drive the shift towards a carbon-neutral future. I led campaigns like the national 'Heat Pump Week' and 'Hannover is Moving', engaging even typically uninterested audiences. My network spans politics, media, culture, and business, which I leverage to connect city changers across the EU. As an experienced speaker and Climate Pact Ambassador, I use my unique communication approach to empower communities, making climate action engaging and impactful.

In the context of a serious and imminent environmental crisis, we want to address the prospect of the changes that the climate crisis will impose on us, in the historial historical and artistic analysis of exhibitions, concerts and especially in conferences and meetings with local administrations and schools. In particular, we believe it is very useful to support extra-urban and mountain life models of which Italy is still rich, because they could offer concrete ideas and suggestions.

I am a finance expert, activist and writer with a focus on sustainability. I am fighting to change capital market boundaries for more sustainable investing rather than short-term focused profits. Whether in a corporate context, on social media or in scientific discussions, I try to raise awareness and motivation for the fight to save our planet and therefore, our future. All of us are in this fight together, so I am sure we can only win if we are united. That is why I want to help connect people. 

We are in the middle of a climate crisis which calls for action. As a mother, entrepreneur, educator and influexpert I feel the urge to act in as many ways I can and call attention and raise awareness on this issue. Education in this field requires a lot of care and it is a long term investment, it is what I am already doing and I am still motivated to do it! I am commited to the topic in both a personal and professional capacity. I am more than happy to do it as a Climate Pact Ambassador as well. 

As Mayor of San Lawrenz in the island of Gozo, I have been leading my community during its journey to become a more sustainable municipality for almost three decades. I work together with residents, local businesses and voluntary organisations as part of my mission to educate the community to be more sustainable and engage in climate action initiatives. As part of my ongoing work, I strive to get to know each and every person within the community and communicate, listen and understand to orient our vision towards the needs of the residents. My planned activities as a Climate Pact Ambassador shall continue to revolve around community engagement and reaching out towards all sectors of society, keeping in mind the most vulnerable, to make sure that the proposed initiatives are of benefit to the whole community. During the next year I shall further promote green transport, waste management, sustainable food and energy efficiency as key areas to achieve climate neutrality.

I am a landscape architect and work as a climate change adaptation specialist. I am responsible for the planning and implementation of local climate actions, including NBS solutions, sustainable transport, energy efficiency, and I also educate residents by involving them in all pro-environmental events. I also support other cities in similar activities. 
The children I work with say that I am changing Zamość into a more beautiful place to live and that is the best recommendation for me!

As Policy Officer for the NGO QUEST (Quality Education in Europe for Social Sustainable Transformation), I advocate for a fairer, smarter and more sustainable education system, promoting children and youth’s well-being and inclusion as positive agents of change. More precisely, I promote innovative pedagogies at the European level, fostering children and youth’s initiative, physical and emotional well-being, and the skills needed in a fast-changing world. Within the European Climate Pact, with QUEST, we will do so through peer-learning exchanges and activities, linking education in nature and democratic education practices with climate education. 

I am a Creative Director and founder of Fail Again. Fail Better., dedicated to promoting sustainability and climate action through storytelling. As an Ambassador, I plan to engage communities with social media campaigns, blog posts explaining the European Climate Pact, and podcasts highlighting best practices in climate action. My goal is to inspire individuals to take part in the conversation and contribute to a more sustainable future.

As an environmental engineer, I've always been interested in sustainability issues as a way of life.

Founding member of Associação Inspira Mobilidade, actively promoting sustainable mobility solutions in the city of Almada to encourage healthier, safer, and more inclusive urban spaces.

Also involved in the Refood project in Almada, supporting food waste reduction.

I’m Liina Freivald, Senior PM Manager at Microsoft’s Tallinn Development Center, eco-entrepreneur taking on various roles at the Green Party. I co-founded VAAL Airships to reduce space pollution, and champion ecological literacy in IT. Inspired by my Võru and Viljandi roots, I’ve shifted from digital to green activism, supporting local biodiversity, sustainable choices and policy reform. As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I’ll bridge technology, community action and environmental resilience.

I am a researcher specializing in the intersection of diet, environment, and human health. As a European Climate Pact Ambassador, I recognize the essential role health professionals play in promoting sustainable diets, as well as the current gap in their knowledge on dietary sustainability. To address this, I am committed to developing tools that empower health professionals to offer dietary guidance that benefits both people and the planet. 

I am the artistic director for a theater company - La Transplanisphère -, which carries out European projects, both artistic and citizen. These projects give rise to the creation of professional creations, but also to workshops combining amateurs and professionals.

My ambition is to create spaces where citizens - professional artists, teachers, “experts”, amateurs of all ages and young people in particular - will not only meet, but also learn and create together to question our times.

With a consortium of partners from six european  countries, we launched LeCake project dedicated to supporting our transition towards sustainable projects for the cultural sector. LeCake includes workshops with local communities to share the knowledge we gathered and provoke co designed, creative proposals.

I want to contribute to a form of expression of the creativity of individuals in society: an expression of collective intelligence in action adressing concretely the European Green deal at local level. 

As Vice-President of Stadt.Land.Klima e.V., a cross-movement project for municipal climate protection, I am dedicated to advance the local transition to climate neutrality, helping municipalities to implement climate measures, while involving citizens in the process and encouraging them to be an active part of the transformation in their communities.
