I am an ecologist by heart.Тeaching children about sustainability, meaningful campaigns and leaving something behind for the benefit of society have been my guiding values ​​in recent years. Creating an urban gardening center, where in addition to growing vegetables, we create a community of like-minded people and educate children with a love for nature is the added value. I plan to continue to develop these essential things and and provide a platform for expression as an Ambassador.

I am an Attorney at Law specializing on renewable energy sources, environmental law, and climate policy. I identify as an advocate for renewable energy sources, climate resilience and just transition that leaves no one behind. Given my academic and professional background in energy law, energy diplomacy, environmental law, and climate change policy, as a Pact Ambassador I will contribute to delivering the increased awareness on climate change challenges both individually and collectively.

I am prof. Taina Tukiainen, EU Climate Adaptation Mission Board Member, CoR expert and Climate Pact Ambassador. At the University of Vaasa, I lead research on sustainability, innovation and energy, coordinating the BET project and the Vaasa Climate Commitment. Beyond academia, I am an organic farmer preserving forests and landscapes and managing a sustainable tourism resort. My work advances climate adaptation, industrial decarbonisation, and community-driven sustainability in Finland and EU.

As an ambassador, I will be actively involved in the fight against climate change, I will approach with full responsibility the respect for our planet, I will inspire the local, national and even regional community to carry out its activity protecting the environment.

As Deputy-Mayor of Budapest, I will do everything in my capacity, to implement our Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan, and to convince other Hungarian local and regional authorities to join the Covenant of Mayors and submit their own climate plans.

I am Iohana Cristina Udrescu, a passionate teacher and trainer dedicated to empowering young people through education. My activities include creating educational content, organizing community events, and fostering continuous engagement through workshops and digital platforms. My goal is to inspire and equip young people to actively participate in shaping a sustainable and just future for their communities.

Within the Amsterdam Municipality I work on sustainability, mostly in the public space. I advise project leads on what to do to turn policy into practice. As a European Climate Pact Ambassador I hope to connect with others who work on similar topics so we can exchange experiences and speed up the sustainability transition in European cities. 

I am an engineer, former scientist and a strategic consultant for the public sector- mainly to the EU Commission, so am well aware of the EU goal of becoming the first climate-neutral continent by 2050 and the corresponding policy actions put in-place by the EC. I am passionate about continuing to learn and innovation particularly on circular economy practices as a means to tackle climate change. In light of this knowledge and by leveraging my skills (i.e. content writer, inspirational public speaker, passionate continuous learner, creative upcycling artist), I am highly committed to acting as an ambassador firstly to connect with other like-minded ambassadors for collective intelligence. And then to spread key learnings and messages across my network to create an informed society at all levels (i.e., policy makers, public and private sector, civil society organisations, think tanks, NOGs, citizens) to take the right actions collectively and urgently since there is no Planet B! 

I am a science writer, science communicator and marketing specialist with extensive volunteering experience in non-governmental organisations in the fields of climate change and nature protection. Part of my volunteer experience in environment protection has also been in Jiamusi, China. I search and write science stories about climate change, biodiversity and nature protection that educate, inspire and inform. I currently work as a communications specialist for National Institute of Chemistry.

I am a guided optimist, ready to make the impossible possible, if that's what it takes to solve climate change. My mission is to use my positive approach to give people more hope about solving the climate crisis. My motto is "scientie ante omnia", i.e "science above all", because I believe science is the foundation of everything and the core to fixing the planet. That's why multiple of my projects are focusing on making climate science more accessible and enjoyable for youth. 

As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I am committed to promoting climate literacy through the WESEM project. I will prepare training materials, build mentor networks, and engage landowners, while sharing insights with the public. My work will include organizing workshops and creating educational content. With previous experience, I am also skilled in event organization and social media management, ensuring effective communication of climate and forestry issues to a wider audience.

I am a researcher in forest management and planning, and an educator and communicator on climate change causes, impacts and solutions. I believe that reaching out to journalists and teachers is the key to improving awareness of climate change impacts and uptake of both individual and collective solutions (mitigation and adaptation). This is why I commit to continue leading climate simulation games for middle and high school teachers and students, and programming educational courses for journalists with the Climate Media Center that I preside over. 

Alongside countless other young people, my engagement in protests for more climate action began in 2019. Little did I know that the climate crisis would become deeply personal so quickly. In 2021, my friend Rosa tragically lost her life in floods connected to climate change. Despite my best efforts, I was unable to save her.

Since then, I have started the Climate Justice For Rosa campaign, aiming to emphasise that the climate crisis goes beyond percentages and statistics; it is about preserving lives. In 2023, I successfully advocated for the establishment of the "EU Day for the Victims of the Global Climate Crisis." Every year, on July 15th, the EU will pay tribute to all climate victims while contemplating the climate actions necessary to secure a sustainable and secure future for current and future generations. As a Climate Pact ambassador, I continue to raise awareness about the dangers of climate inaction and exert pressure on policymakers, urging them to take action.

I co-manage Companions, a private equity organization focused on SMEs. I believe the investment world needs intragroup messengers, and I see myself in this role. My initiatives aim to raise awareness and bridge the intention-behavior gap. I propose partnering with sector federations to offer actionable ESG guidance, collaborating with business schools to include ESG in finance curricula & showcasing companies that took successful climate actions resulting both in financial and social return.

Climate litigation is crucial for driving meaningful change and holding governments and entities accountable for their climate impact. As an Ambassador, I'm committed to advancing this cause by expanding my Climate Court initiative and creating more awareness of what goes on in court. I’ll consult on more climate cases and implement a climate litigation accelerator to empower emerging lawyers. I will always ensure that the voices of those most affected are represented in the legal system.

I am a Team Leader for Sports Facilities in Dordrecht and a City Council member for D66 in Papendrecht. I work on creating sustainable, nature-inclusive, and climate-adaptive sports parks and promote green urban development. As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I aim to engage citizens and local organisations in climate adaptation, biodiversity protection, and sustainable mobility through local dialogues and visible community projects.

As an interdisciplinary climate physicist, I have been involved with climate change (research, policy advice, outreach) for more than 40 years, including as IPCC Vice-Chair (2008–2015). 
My overall goal is to put my scientific knowledge and experience at the service of solving the most pressing climate, environment, and development problems, in a sustainable and fair way.

Passionate about climate justice and youth participation, I am an Erasmus Mundus Scholar in Environmental Sciences and former Belgian UN Youth Delegate for Sustainable Development. I have experience in climate policy from the local to the UN level (COP29) and in public speaking at conferences and schools. As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I aim to inspire thousands of students, advance the protein shift across European Universities, and connect youth and businesses for ambitious climate action.

I am Marie, a former beauty industry expert who transitioned to sustainability after over 12 years in cosmetics. As Marketing and Communication Manager at Terra Matters and City Lead for Women and Climate Luxembourg, I aim to combine my communication, branding, and event skills to promote circular economy practices, empower women in climate leadership, and foster collaboration between businesses and communities for a more sustainable future.
