I have continued my commitment as Ambassador of the European Climate Pact, integrating the principles of sustainability, circularity, and environmental responsibility across my different fields of work as a sculptor, designer, creative director, and founder of the Portuguese sustainable accessories brand Marita Moreno.

My approach starts from the idea that sustainability should not be treated as an isolated initiative, but as a principle running through the entire creative process - from the selection and reuse of materials to production, the preservation of artisanal knowledge, communication, and public awareness.

In my artistic practice, I have deepened a line of research that brings together textile art, nature, and environmental awareness, using sculpture as a means of drawing attention to the fragility of ecosystems, particularly marine environments and coral reefs.
