Lombardy Energy Cleantech Cluster (LE2C)

Lombardy Energy Cleantech Cluster (LE2C) is the industrial and research network for energy and the environment officially recognised by the Region of Lombardy. It operates according to the multiple helix model, enabling collaboration across research, innovation, industry and training. 

LE2C is active within a range of international networks, including the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP), Global Cleantech Cluster Association (GCCA) and the Vanguard Initiative on hydrogen and offshore green energy. The Cluster also participates in several working groups within S3 Partnerships of European Regions (ESPC), such as ADMA for Energy and Marine Renewables, Advanced Materials for Batteries and Water Smart Territories. 

Its mission is to foster structured and continuous dialogue between industry and research, while promoting open innovation at regional, national and European level. LE2C also acts as a facilitator of innovation and sustainability in Lombardy, and supports collaboration on cutting-edge solutions to address future energy and environmental challenges.
