Grøn Geist is a youth-led organisation that empowers young people aged 15–35 to take concrete climate action through creativity, community and collaboration.

Its mission is to make climate action tangible, enjoyable and accessible – especially for young people – by turning sustainable ideas into real-life experiences and practical solutions.

The organisation runs national campaigns, school competitions, festivals and hands-on workshops focused on themes such as circular economy, biodiversity and sustainable living. Key activities include the Fem Fede Dage high-school challenge, the Grøn Geist Festival on Ungdomsøen and local climate labs in youth culture houses.

Grøn Geist works with a wide range of stakeholders, including students, volunteers, educators, municipalities, non-governmental organisations and EU-funded initiatives. It also collaborates with Repair Festivals, cultural institutions, and other youth organisations to expand its reach and impact.
