Grandparents for Climate (Grootouders voor het Klimaat) Flanders

Grandparents for Climate (Grootouders voor het Klimaat) Flanders is a non-profit organisation striving for a liveable and sustainable society that respects the planet's carrying capacity for all grandchildren wherever they live, now or in the future. 

Together with climate-minded young people, social and climate organisations, and senior citizens’ organisations, it works to build support for ambitious climate policy and to encourage Belgium to implement strong climate action at international, federal, regional and local levels. 

The organisation raises awareness among older generations, encourages learning and action on the climate crisis, and mobilises citizens to engage with key stakeholders, including governments, businesses, institutions and educational initiatives. Through intergenerational cooperation, it seeks to strengthen public support for effective and fair climate policies.
