My goal is to engage with decision-makers to step up their climate ambition, especially on climate finance, loss and damage, and mitigation targets.

I believe that civil society has a critical role to play in pressuring governments, and as an Italian citizen living in Luxembourg, I feel I have a duty to hold developed countries accountable for their, our underwhelming climate action.

“Leave the world the best I have found” is my motto and has ruled my life for 20 years, committed to reducing our lifestyle footprint. Working with Greentech projects, I have witnessed innovative solutions that can help us conquer many of our actual challenges, but inarticulately. Working together for a common goal can create something unimaginable. As European Climate Pact Ambassador I will use my resources to show a way for everyone to become greener, by building synergetic green projects

I am a 22 years old Law student at University of Lisbon. I have been a climate activist since 2019 when I organised one of the first climate strikes in Portugal. I have been working with projects linked to SGD5-SDG13 and legal volunteering in the context of NGOs, local groups, national, European, North American and Latin entities, namely in Brazil where I lived for a year.

2022 culminated with the award of recognition by the US State Department as one of the 20 young leaders in Europe. In the same year, I launched the Último Recurso Association, aiming to use Climate Litigation for the first time in Portugal, and the association is now suing the Portuguese Government for lack of climate accountability.

I am a University of Nevada Alumni for studies in Climate Change, Journalism, Communication and Leadership.

Between 2023-2025, I will be one of the young consultants of the President of Portugal.

I am quite ashamed of the world my generationg is passing on to the next ones. My focus is on trying to correct our path and provide younger people with better approaches and tools to maintain the Earth with life support capacity for as long as possible.

That is why I founded EcoMood Portugal and Ecokart Portugal. We promote a few more 'R' than the 3 basic ones, like (re)think or (re)create, and we work for environmental, social and financial sustainablity. In this order.

I am a passionate entrepreneur driven by the vision of a litter-free world. As the founder of the Clean Something For Nothing app and movement, I have been encouraging and mobilising communities since 2018 to actively remove waste from our environment through social media. As a European Climate Pact Ambassador, I am committed to broadening this initiative across Europe. My focus will be on amplifying our digital engagement via social media challenges, strengthening partnerships with schools for hands-on climate education as well as hosting community clean-up events. Only by acting together can we build a conscious and collaborative society.

I would like to talk and inform about climate change during regular interactions and activities, especially with those who are not already involved in climate action. I plan to generate alliances to share knowledge, offer data, experience and stories on different topics by organising events and through media campaigns and social networks with new forms and channels to raise awareness. I will advocate at national, regional and local levels to persuade public authorities, organisations and businesses to commit to ambitious climate actions and commitments. I will get involved (even more so) with local communities, especially vulnerable groups, exchanging information with other activists, environmental volunteering, and organising activities related to climate and environmental action will also be actions that you will have to take. I would like to give useful and practical examples for anyone who wants to continue in climate action and environmental protection, acting as a bridge to the European Commission.

I am the Environmental and Legal Director, Member of the Management Board of SCHWENK Latvija SIA (schwenk.lv), Chairperson of the Supervisory Council of Transparency International Latvia (delna.lv), and leader of Shadow Economy Combatting work group and member of Energy and Green Economy work group of the Foreign Investors Council in Latvia (ficil.lv). I am passionate about sustainability and work on implementation of sustainability principles in my daily professional life. But I want to do more, therefore, I have striven to become a European Climate Pact Ambassador. In this role I commit to writing articles and organising a seminar/workshop on  climate-related topics, regarding which there is still a very low awareness in the society as a whole, but also at the national policy-making level (CCUS and circular economy in construction). However, work on these topics is of utmost importance for reaching the climate goals in defined timelines.

I am a European citizen living in Brussels and rooted in the Canary Islands. Having worked on citizen participation and urban and regional policy for several years, I believe in the power of citizens to take action to improve their climate and environment to achieve more sustainable and healthier cities and territories for humans and nature.

As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I would like to share the power of design thinking, of a territorial perspective, and participatory democracy with fellow citizens to achieve the European Green Deal and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Every day my question is: What change do I want to see in the world today?  How can I contribute positively to the Planet?  I was trained on climate change and on the 2030 Agenda and I have experienced first hand the problem of climate migrants.  This is why my goal is to make everyone aware of their own value and of the strength that each of our gestures and actions has to contribute to a world and a planet where we can talk about human and environmental sustainability for everyone!

Mara Grimminger is 24 years young, a student in the Franco-German double Master of Political Science, in the Franco-Spanish Master of European Governance and has completed additional studies in Sustainable Development. She is the former president of the Young European Federalists (JEF) Bavaria, as well as JEF Munich and currently represents JEF Belgium as president. In numerous lectures, discussions and regulars' tables, she deals with the "European Green Deal" or environmental and climate policy and the political/European participation of young people.

The mission of the Jongerenmilieuraad (Youth Environmental Council) is to promote the involvement of youth in the creation of environmental policy in the Netherlands. It is run entirely by volunteers from the ages 12 to 30. Within the pact we aim to promote and foster collaboration and activities that help us in achieving this goal, but we also want to help other organizations with involving youth in their activities. Furthermore, we aim to promote climate and environmental action in NL.

My position as an Executive Director of Stara Zagora Regional Economic Development Agency meets me with a number of cases in the public and private sector as part of the activities of SZ REDA which are directly related to the impact on the climate change respectively with sustainable development at the regional level. A significant share of them show there is a need for targeted actions to raise awareness and provoke organised actions to mitigate and limit the negative effects.

As a passionate advocate for the environment and a young professional in the field of electric aviation, I am deeply committed to driving sustainability in the aerospace industry. In my role as a European Climate Pact Ambassador, my mission revolves around empowering individuals to recognise their collective ability to shape a more sustainable future. My primary focus centers on fostering climate change awareness with a special focus on aviation, highlighting its consequences, and championing innovative solutions. Through engaging workshops, conferences, and collaborative partnerships with sustainability-driven companies, I am dedicated to making sustainability a central focus in our journey towards a cleaner and greener future. 

As a member of the Flemish Parliament, I'll find it very important to persuade by organising activities and reaching out to people and organisations in regular conversations and interactions, exchange ideas and knowledge, convince people by presentations/conversations and participating in panels.  That's what you can expect from me as an ambassador of the climate pact.

I am a Strategic Communications Specialist in Climate Diplomacy and Net-zero, holding an economics degree from the University of Milan Bicocca. Specialising in sustainable marketing, strategic communications, and climate diplomacy, I am deeply committed to environmental advocacy.

As a co-founder and active member of nonprofit organisations, including "Change For Planet," I champion collaborative efforts for positive environmental change. Moreover, as European Climate Pact Ambassador, I strive to utilise diplomatic finesse to shape policies and inspire collective action.

My journey has been marked by a dedication to bridging economic principles with environmental sustainability. I aim to catalyse actionable change, engaging with stakeholders at all levels to influence net-zero emissions goals—the intersection of expertise in economics, strategic communications, and environmental advocacy positions.

At the heart of my work is a belief in the power of collective responsibility. By inspiring individuals, businesses, and governments, I emphasise that safeguarding our future is achievable through collaborative efforts.

As Climate Pact Ambassador I will organise educational and awareness raising activities for Mykolas Romeris University (MRU, Lithuania) academic community and Ukrainian war refugee school Gravitas Schola students. I will also coordinate the pilot project of the Responsible Futures International at MRU aimed at engaging and empowering students and youth to learn, lead and act for Climate, embedding sustainability and co-creating an international framework of good practice for other world universities. The project will be delivered in partnership with the Students Organising for Sustainability and International Association of Universities.  Finally, as Vilnius was selected the European Green Capital for 2025 by the European Commission, I will engage and contribute to educational and capacity building activities from the Climate Pact point view.  I hope my efforts will contribute to the advocacy and engagement of students, youth and local communities in Climate Pact actions. 

Collective action is extremely crucial for concrete environmental action. I recently co-founded Rethinking Climate to investigate how we communicate about the climate crisis through research and direct engagement with stakeholders. With this organization and personally, I wish to answer with experts those hard questions about the climate crisis so that we can expand this climate movement and apply at best concrete solutions.
