Motivation is love for the environment and quality of life. I am a Municipal Councilor on a small island of Hydra (no cars) and study at the University of Athens Environmental Pollution – Smart Urban Management (elearning). I am the President of the Hellenic Small Islands Network and our members implement programs with emphasis on energy autonomy and pollution reduction. We regularly organize an open hearing at the EESC (EU) with similar topics and awareness-raising events in the world.

I am an educator and I studied BSc. Human and Environment: Psychology, Communication and Economics and I live in Berlin. I have combined my two areas of expertise and work freelance in environmental education, where I give workshops. There I would like to especially work with students who have little connection to nature in their urban everyday life. I am planning a big summer party on 30.06.24 at Ökowerk e.V. in Berlin with institutions of nature conservation and environmental education. The theme will be "ecological diversity". I would also like to organise science slams to reach more target groups. I would also like to do a panel with presentations on climate crisis, environmental psychology and environmental communication. I am very interested in networking across Europe and believe that education and information are key to a systemic transformation to meet the challenges of the climate crisis together and in solidarity.

I intend to support efforts being made to attain the climate goals of corporates and hence, jurisdictions in a way that all actions can be quantitatively measured and stakeholders will be legally bound by the statements they make of their climate efforts in the years to come. I will be doing the following in coming year:

1. Write at least two articles on mitigating the climate crisis

2. Attend minimum three events with a climate theme

3. Share above on social media as well as share at least five news article on climate change resolution strategies

4. Encourage people to use my company’s carbon footprint calculator, CTrackX, and offset their emissions through our platform, CNet0. Make efforts to ensure adoption of CNet0 by at least four corporate clients.

5. Target at least four corporates to use our climate software, DCarbonX, for trading of carbon credits.

I am the founder and project manager of Centre for Capacity Building & Empowerment in Sweden. I also work as project leader for youth & EU affairs for Malmö ideella in Sweden, and am an advisor to Alla lika värde and Active Youth Denmark.

With more than 10 years of experience in non-profit sector, I specialise in youth and refugee empowerment, migrant and refugee integration, interfaith conflict resolution, election observation, climate change and the Mediterranean. I have lead more than 30 projects as a Certified Trainer and youth exchange Facilitator of EU projects. I am certified in Conflict Resolution and Interfaith Conflict Analysis by United States Institute of Peace, Washington. I am also certified by OSCE in election observation & international election standards certification by Council of Europe.

I hold a M.A. in International Relations and a B.A. in International Migration and Ethnic Relations from Malmö University in Sweden. 

Out of all the industries that emit GHG, I plan to focus on supporting the carbon reduction efforts of corporations in the industries of plastic, fashion, food, and agriculture. In 2019, the Republic of Korea ranked 9th for high carbon emission and at 4th for the emission per capita. Each year, the Republic of Korea emits 679.7 million tons of GHG and is the 4th highest emitter of carbon within the OECD nations. Currently, the per capita consumption of plastic amounts to 460 plastic bags or 100 kilograms per year. The Republic of Korea, unfortunately, ranks in the top tier considering its population, which is why the Republic of Korea is more than eager in climate action and response.

I have a PhD in sustainable diets from University College Dublin (UCD) Ireland, and am vice chair of the European Health Parliament Sustainable Health Systems committee. My main motivation is to secure human and planetary health, and to ensure a just transition to healthy and sustainable diets. Empowering consumers through information and health literacy is an important motivation, and reducing the environmental impact of the hospitality and food service sector.

The EU Green Deal needs to be a participatory project changing the hearts and minds of EU citizens. As a EU Climate Pact ambassador and as an experienced consultant I want to support local players & micro-projects on the ground - with a focus on planetary health eco-agriculture and biodiversity - to connect with each other and with EU levels. As founder of a small ecological project combining yoga and permaculture I think that this connection between local levels and the EU level is crucial.

Key part of my activities will be focused on further promoting awareness on the importance of climate issues for the future of human society. I plan to organize study visits and/or conferences on climate issues in my city and ensure appropriate media coverage of them. Intend to participate in international events on climate issues and booster promotion of best practices, experiences and practical solutions how to address the main challenges that majority of cities encounter in the field.

The region of Hungary in which I live has great historical traditions and natural endowments. Nevertheless, now this region is lagging behind and poor in its potential. This is compounded by the difficult legacy of the old failed economy and industrial structure, that traditional politics still want to save. I want to do everything I can to make it prosper again on a sustainable and green basis, and EU funding is being used for that. 

Solving the climate crisis in a just and equitable way should be society's main focus as it is the biggest emergency we are facing. As a Climate Pact Ambassador and youth activist, I strongly believe in the need for every part of society to contribute to our fight against climate change. Hence, I, guided by my passion to work toward to change I want to see, am active in various organisations ranging from raising awareness to monitoring policies for sustainable change.

There´s only one planet earth as common home for all of us. It's our choice to take our last chance to realise the potential of our common planet, to be a paradise for all, or to carry on destroying our common home, by trying to be one of the few who live in a land of milk and honey. I have made my choice

As a passionate advocate for climate action, I am thrilled to embark on the journey of becoming a European Climate Pact Ambassador. With a background in event creation, community involvemnet and enthusiasm for nature, I am ready to leverage my experience to make a tangible impact on the urgent global challenge of climate change.

My planned activities as an Ambassador will be characterised by a relentless commitment to fostering positive change within my community and beyond. I envision actively engaging with the Pact Community online groups every quarter, fostering a sense of enviroment awarness and knowledge exchange among fellow Ambassadors. Through this interaction, I aim to not only share valuable insights but also learn from the diverse perspectives and experiences of my peers.

I'm an Compliance Officer in one of the local banks in Poland and Academic teacher (Environmental Law). I'm engaged in many projects connected to ESG factors implementation in financal sector. I would like to be an ambassador of European Climate Act in these fields.

Cosmas Kombat Lambini (Ghana) is a vibrant climate and biodiversity reseacher with experience in several European and African countries (Germany, France, Slowakia, Denmark, Spain, Burkina Faso, Togo, Kenya, Cameroon, South Africa, Burundi, Morroco). He has an Erasmus Mundus Masters in International Rural Development and PhD training from the Bayreuth Graduate School in management of social-ecological systems in the tropics. He has a number of scientific publications to his name including publications in the journal of Nature, Ecological Economics and Forest Policy and Economics. He is currently working to promote climate change impacts and solutions with youth across Africa and climate resilience topics with women and other vulnerable groups.

I will follow a double approach, i.e. communicate internally and externally on my region. South Tyrol has many best practices to share and is ready to learn from other stakeholders all over Europe. As a regional governor I can bring forward our message on different levels: local, regional, national, European. Furthermore, as South Tyrol is part of the European Region Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino, which is multi-cultural and autonomous, our background is very special and can provide a precious added value.

I would like everyone to know that the resources we have on Earth are not infinite and we should all end up using the circular economy. I am particularly close to the topic of water which we are almost running out of so I would like to focus on promoting its sustainable use and treatment through work and studies in nanotechnology.

As a human being, a mother and a global citizen, I have an existential and fundamental responsibility to do good and lead by example. As a biologist and in my role as an educator at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, I have the privilege to interact with the future's stake holders, educators, policy-makers and influencers. Witnessing the unprecedented devastation from mega fires and floods in Greece and the rest of Europe, it has become imperative to act with urgency.

As Pact Ambassador, I commit to sharing knowledge through science, working towards a better understanding of the mechanisms of life; macro and micro worlds. My aim will be to raise awareness of environmental issues among multi-disiplinary groups and different educational tiers; primary education to post-graduate level. I intend to introduce innovative teaching tools for better student engagement and development of skills to enhance learning and an understanding of climate change.

As an EU Climate Pact Ambassador, my commitment is to champion sustainability at every level, both in my daily life and job. With a profound dedication to incorporating environmental responsibility into business strategies, I aim to advocate for sustainable practices, particularly emphasising the intersection of indirect taxes and environmental sustainability. I strive to foster widespread awareness and encourage the adoption of eco-conscious strategies in businesses. My objective is to guide and collaborate with organisations, ensuring a seamless integration of sustainable policies, fostering a harmonious balance between economic growth and environmental preservation.
