I help companies to define their science based emission targets, I create awareness on the importance of small and medium sized companies in tackling climate change through organising online workshops and webinars. Moreover, I participate climate action initiatives such as the transition to sustainable transportation such as bicycle commuting and afforestation. I also work on tools that facilitate carbon emission reduction and offset platforms.

I as an Ambassador promote fairtrade as a sustainable way of producing food, goods. Fairtrade principles must be valid for local farmers aswell. Organising small consumer groups of sustainable food could be one way. I share news and articles at my personal and association's facebook. During my daily activity I follow a sustainable lifestyle, using public transport, avoiding usage of oneway food containers, eating only seasonable local veggies and fruits. At both my working and living place I gather the people who share same values.

I am a child rights lawyer and the founder of Hintalovon Foundation, one of the best-known child rights/child protection NGOs in Hungary. I dedicate all my knowledge, experience and acceptance to sensitise people on the fundamental rights of future generations. There are no children's rights without future thus we have an obligation to take responsibility for our biosphere. But children are not just the future. They are here, in the present and we have to do everything possible to recognise their needs, interests and rights. Climate action commitment can be an important step toward acknowledging our (adult) responsibility and make actions accordingly.  

As a climate ambassador I will try to apply just transition and Green deal in my own city and regions. I will support our local climate coordinators to reach out to schools, kindergartens and teachers. I will share my knowledge with other local politicians and together we will try to find climate friendly solutions for our city. 

Mrs Anna Häger is from the autonomous region Åland Islands (Finland) and holds an M.Sc. degree in Sustainable Development and a B.Sc. degree in Biology/Molecular Biology.

Her thesis work investigated the role municipal leadership has on energy transitions towards RES and she is a strong advocate for multi-lateral citizen engagement for holistic and systemic changes in sustainable infrastructure.

She's also a board member of Ålands largest ENGO and the local Sustainable Development Agenda Assoc.

Primarily I work for Institute for Circular Economy, Slovakia (INCIEN). In addition, I am a local council member in Bratislava Lamač and lead the Environmental affairs committee, as well I work very actively in Lamač with communities. I am also a member the Committee for environmental affairs and climate change under Bratislava council. In every area where I am active, I would like to increase other people's knowledge about the circular economy and its linkage to the climate crisis - to help them to better understand the circular economy as one of the solutions of climate crisis.

Being engaged in climate action, I have realised that whilst international agreements have been signed, when we step outside we continue to walk past plastic and degraded ecosystems. As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I want to start with local initiatives that champion small and impactful behaviours to clean up our communities. Instead of finger-pointing to the older generation, scientists or politicians, I am raising my hand up - this is OUR future!

I am 17 and for two years I have been very involved in the climate change question. I have tried to act at different levels, schools, and regions and now I have the opportunity to be an Ambassador. As an ambassador, I am going to help people become aware of climate change and give them the opportunity to get involved in the cause. I want to make interventions in schools in less affluent districts and also use my social media to inform people.

My core belief is that understanding climate change is the first step to take action. Time is no more for immobilism but the energy of individuals, whichever their role or situation is, and will be determinant to shift our societies to a climate- and environmentally-friendly situation. My role as an Ambassador will thus mostly focus on raising awareness in an inclusive way and do my best to make our societies sustainable and liveable for current and future generations.

Having worked in heavy industry for over thirty years and holding an MSc in Management for Sustainable Development, I have the knowledge and experience to be an Ambassador.

When Senior Advisor at the European Institute for Innovation and Technology (EIT) in raw materials for three years I lectured and presented on value chains, climate action and the UN SDGs in Europe and beyond. Using these skills I will deliver the message that we all need to act together to combat climate change.

Our motivation is to pass on an intact natural world to future generations and therefore to establish a system today that enables a more responsible approach to nature. Social, economic and ecological aspects cannot be separated from each other. Therefore, our initiative advocates a fair climate policy and pursues the goal of a per capita budgeting of the remaining emission quota. We inform about this idea through various events and seek cooperation with other initiatives.

I have a PhD in Biotechnology and I am an emerita Research Director, retired in 2016. In 2015, I trained to be a Climate Speaker in Vice President AL Gore´s Climate Reality Project. I would continue giving Climate talks to audiences of varying size. My material for the talks comes from Climate Reality, and also from Research Institutes. My talks focus on the general facts of Climate Change, why and how. I am also focusing on sustainable food and farming issues. My motivation is: Change is based on knowledge.

I co-founded the Donut Berlin Initiative, a local Doughnut Economics hub. We build bridges among change agents with similar and related goals and promote solutions and tangible actions for everyone to help secure a livable future. I see the Doughnut of social and ecological boundaries as compass for tackling the current polycrisis, a symbol of hope and a tool to start action. I give lectures and workshops, at universities or evening classes, for NGOs or the public sector. But most of all I love to think about actions and tools that reach out to people who are not yet involved in climate, environmental or social movements. Communication is key and I have learned that unexpected, creative and humorous ways of narrating and showing the options and solutions we have, open hearts and minds to support climate action.

As a committed Climate Pact Ambassador, my mission is to spread awareness about environmental protection and the EU's role in fostering sustainability. Through engaging school workshops and impactful social media content, I strive to reach diverse audiences, particularly the younger generation, making sustainability appealing and easily understandable. Additionally, I actively participate in panel discussions and events to foster dialogue and understanding about climate policies within the community. Organising a discussion on the Green Deal serves to enhance public awareness of lesser-known policies, sparking crucial conversations about environmental protection. Join me in this meaningful journey towards a greener and more sustainable future.

As a doctoral researcher focused on circular economy solutions, I am passionate about driving systemic change through scientific innovation. As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I plan to engage my academic networks in sustainability dialogues, advocate for universities to strengthen their climate commitments, and provide evidence-based guidance on reducing greenhouse gas emissions. I will connect with student groups to help amplify their voices and actions on climate justice. My scientific background allows me to communicate credibly on environmental issues and policies. I aim to inspire my peers to confront the climate emergency through local green initiatives and grassroots activism. Together, our generation can build momentum to achieve a just, sustainable future.

I am a PhD student researching Positive Energy Districts as part of the Sustainability Research Group of the University of Basel, and have published papers where I focus on energy justice as well as energy poverty. I see climate change mitigation as vital! I am a member of the Fairteiler group that provides a food pantry which is stocked daily with food we collect from supermarkets that would otherwise be thrown away. In this way we reduce food waste and encourage a more sustainable community.

Robert Heinecke is an entrepreneur, futurist thinker and smart city expert. 

He is the CEO of Breeze Technologies, a German industry leader in air quality sensors, data and analytics, which he founded in 2015. 

Robert regularly speaks and publishes on the topic of smart and sustainable cities, air quality and climate action. 

Through his work at Breeze, he enables startups and other organisations to pilot solutions that can mitigate climate pollutant emissions and improve local air quality.

I am a union climate strategist, organising green reps in workplaces in Swedish public service sector. 

I am an advisor in Agriculture and Environment, working for a better world, where sustainability prevails and with actions that protect Biodiversity.
