Meet our Ambassadors

Pierre-Jean Clausse believes that youth engagement and climate action are intrinsically linked: therefore, he wants to provide stronger platforms for advocacy amongst young people.

As a professional ocean and polar photographer, my mission is to raise awareness about the importance of our ocean, scientific research, vulnerability of nature and impact through the use of image. Making science more tangible, visualising what is at stake and by using powerful images as a tool towards different target groups and as a means to bridge the gap between science and policy is an essential part of my work. I present my photos at the highest policy level and for different audiences.

I aim to work to educate people about food system sustainability, climate change, and solutions-oriented change. I hope to use my event management skills to assist in event organisation in both Cyprus and Sweden, while raising awareness with youth and the private sector online and in person. I love food and I want to make sure future generations have great food access.

I believe the EU Climate Pact is meant to respond to two major issues: the end of the world and the end of the month. Both time frames are represented in the EU by Greta Thunberg and the french Yellow Jacket movement, respectively. 

To me, the best way to miss our goal – to answer both sources of anxiety – is to oppose them.

As an Ambassador, I hope to have the chance to highlight how the EU Climate Pact and local actions can answer both issues and bring every EU citizen together.

Using all the media channels available to me I will continue to help people understand our climate and environmental challenges. How to live a more sustainable life and show that one of the most effective solutions for contributing to a fairer and healthier world is through our plate. To influence and trigger positive change, I will keep  planting seeds wherever I go with my life example.

I am a 20 year old local politician from Luxembourg. Since 2020 I am doing bike-tours each year and am now in the first stages of creating an organisation that will offer bike-tours as an sustainable alternative to "normal" vacation. As a local politician I want to bring forward more projects that will have a small, positive impact on nature.

I believe that in order to combat climate change, companies must engage with all their co-workers to raise awareness and involve them in the fight. I hope to create tools so that VINCI can train its collaborators in the field on the impact our activities have and the role they play when it comes to protecting our environment.

Cristina is a travel industry professional, passionate about advertising and sustainability. Especially if they cause a positive impact on society. She is currently working for booking.com, where her motto within the company is to transform the tourism sector into a more conscious version of it no matter the role you develop. Moreover, she is the founder of Viajar Eslou, a startup awarded by both, the World Tourism Organization and Forbes as one of the very few worldwide that can change the future of tourism. As Climate Pact Ambassador she wants to use her social networks to educate the public and spread awareness. 

My mission is to connect business goals with collective needs. Therefore I will create awareness on climate change and ESG in general. One of my main activities is helping companies in their sustainability transitions. I do that by redefining strategies and doing market research. Once the strategy is determined, I help companies to turn their strategies in anto implementable operational plans. In order to create a market and to create awareness, I act as an influencer on climate change, collective needs and circular business models. 

J'aime les gens et l'environnement. J'ai la dette de protejer la nature, de la rendre  saine et sauve aux descendants. J'aime aussi travailler en equipe, avec des differents personnes-adultes, adolescents, eleves. J'aimerais creer une equipe fantastique, pour povoir promouvoir ma croyance, ainsi que nos actions ayent des echos reeles. J'ai planifie des activites diverses:des tables rondes, des manifestations publiques, des formations professionneles, des programmes scolaires aprouves par l'Inspectorat Scolaire, apliques dans les unites scolaires, une methodolgie sur la vulnerabilite/la progression de la resilience des ecosystems devant les effets des changements climatiques, un Club climatique. Dans ces activites seront impliques des professeurs, des eleves, les representants de l'environnement des affaires, les membres de la communautes, les decidents qui pourraient changer,qui ont le pouvoir de decider.

Translation: I love people and the environment. I am committed to protecting nature and returning it safely to its descendants. I also like to work in a team, with different people; adults, teenagers, students. I would like to create a fantastic team so that I can promote my conviction so that our actions have real impacts. I have planned various activities: round tables, public events, professional training, school programmes approved by the School Inspectorate, implemented in school units, a methodolgy on the vulnerability/increasing resilience of ecosystems to the effects of climate change, and a Climate Club. These activities will involve teachers, students, representatives of the business environment, members of the community, residents who have the capacity to change, who have the power to decide.

As a young mother living in one of the most polluted cities in Europe, and in my professional capacity as an energy consumer expert, I have noticed that people are not aware of the simple actions they can implement to reduce their environmental footprint. For instance, when it comes to their domestic energy, many people don't know that they can easily switch to a "green" supplier, or that they can gain in comfort and quality by being more energy efficient. I want to make simple tools accessible to everyone.

My professional file focuses on designing biohybrids to replace toxic/scarce components in energy devices. My vision is to learn from Biology, thinking like a Chemist, but acting as an Engineer. As ambassador of TUMCS, I will guide the society towards understanding the opportunities to transform our society in a sustainable ecosystem. This educational journey requires endless engagement to set innovative bridges to approach every age level of our society. I will work on building those bridges.

PhD in Neurocomputing. NGO Sustainary General Director - Southern Europe. In our NGO we develop different events to promote the sustainability and the green transition. 

As Climate pact ambassador, we want not only to continue the promotion of SDG tech awards, but also to increase the relationship between the knowledge build in the education institutions and the industry. We want to link the research and SMEs in the green transition.

I am founder of the International Impact NGO and I commit to raising awareness of the EU Climate Pact.

My purpose is to create a better world for our generations to come.

My mission is to do this by reconnecting people with nature in order to recreate the harmony which enables people and organisations to thrive.

I do this by inspiring leaders and individuals through workshops, games, coaching, and consulting. I sherpa teams towards a common goal with high-impact strategies.

I am the President of the student council of the EIDE in Luxembourg. I belive that in order for change to occur, the world has to understand the true impact of climate change and the ever pressing need to change our daily habits. By helping the people around me understand the true impact of climate change, I intend to make a difference. I want to increase awareness by way of concerts, fashion shows and other activities within my school. I am happpy that I do not have to do these things on my own, but I get to do them with the rest if the comité, with my climate club as well as with people from my europe club. 

Support the European Climate Pact with specific actions that I can carry out in my local environment based on behavioral changes. Specially I am motivated to perform engagement activities to raise awareness with first-hand actions: learning by doing and built on current social communities turned into local "climate action" communities. Actions I would like to carry out, will always look for an easy and quick replicability throughout Europe and the use of open science practices is a must.

As a Climate Pact Ambassador, my goal is to change the way in which issues of “Climate Change” are publically perceived, changing the cognitive focus from power politics to the everyday life. I will create valuable media resources that emphasise the need for intersectional climate integration into different fields such as healthcare, risk advisory, amongst others. As well, I hope to strengthen European international collaboration by establishing ties with Latin American Climate Groups in the Amazon Region, providing different articles on ways in which strengthening global relations is crucial to green development in the EU sphere.

As a European project designer, I've been carrying on projects about sustainability from different perspectives (social, environmental, learning, etc.).

As a teacher I've been working on sustainability projects and on Agenda goals, in curricular, extracurricular activities and eTwinning platform.

As a PCTO tutor, my classes are members of our school green community, promoting initiatives and actions in favor of environment and against climate change. I am now working for PNRR projects in a Regional Directorate, so my engagement has been involving more schools.
