I am committed to moving more capital into sustainable and climate aware investments. By continuing to develop new and enhancing our investment strategies we provide tools for motivated investors. In combination we need to educate investors, in Sweden as well as internationally, professional as well as retail, on the possibilites to use their investments as a sustainability transition and engagement tool. My goal during the year as Ambassador is to reach out to as many investors as possible to educate them around sustainable investments and encourage change.

I'm an environmental sciencist and sociologist with more than 20 years of professional experience both in business consulting and in international cooperation projects. Eight years ago I started up Sostenibilidad a Medida a social innovation consultancy for sustainability under the social business model.



We are one of the 101 Empresas por el Clima in Spain, one net of companies committed to fight against climate change and to impulse new green and carbon neutral economy models.

I am the founder of the global platform for innovators, Startup Disrupt, which aims to support founders with global ambitions to improve the world. As part of our movement, we are organisers of the European innovative conference Sustainable Future, where we aim to share the latest trends and best practices in sustainability and connect the startup founders, innovators, private and public sector players, NGOs, and the academic sphere to work together on this mission.

Dual French and Dutch citizen living in France, I am driven by my passion of working for a necessary goal, I thus dedicate my life contributing modestly to climate action. I went back to university in order to specialise in environmental management after studies in social sciences and I now work on a daily basis towards making finance a better tool for the environmental and social transitions. In the following year, I would like to help engaging those who do not see themselves having a role to play in climate action, working through social professional coaching organisations. The idea is to bring climate discourse to those who are far from it through giving them time to gain confidence on the topic so they can also have the opportunity to soon become climate ambassadors. 

As the CEO and co-founder of CarbonStack, my mission is to help Europe become the first carbon-neutral continent by providing natural ways of capturing emissions from European countries. We use high-resolution satellite images to monitor forests and document every positive and negative impact concerning the ecosystems via our transparent and climate-neutral blockchain infrastructure. Reliable carbon sinks without greenwashing are essential to reach the 1.5°C goal.

Raising awareness of the climate crisis and working with youth is my life's purpose. I use the term crisis because climate change only began in 1863. Since then it has become a climate crisis and today a climate catastrophe.

As an environmental science student, I have a solid foundation in sustainability concepts and terms.

Through interactive activities such as the Theatre of the Oppressed, flashmobs, seed bomb workshops, recycling maze quizzes, group recycling workshops it is possible to highlight the basic concepts of climate change, the upcoming concept of the climate migrant that we are slowly experiencing, and how with small changes in our routines we can contribute to sustainability. Finally, in collaboration with institutes and forums we will undertake a policy exercise with the ministry of education around integrating climate sustainability into the education education system given it is a key pillar for the development of  next generations.

With a master's degree in Energy and many years of experience in multinationals, as a climate pact ambassador I strive to inform, promote and support climate action in my communities and business networks. As a technical expert in energy, I want to become a bridge within the civil society through various talks, demonstration projects and events, to encourage those who are interested in taking climate actions, alongside the European Commission.

As a scientific consultant in Cave Geology and Paleoclimate at the Cave of Lakes (Achaea, Greece) and its newly-established “Environmental Center”, I will raise awareness regarding the current climate change based on the 'speleothems' book. Speleothems, the crystalline formations everyone admires in caves - among them the well-known stalactites and stalagmites - record with an exceptional resolution the global climate change during the period of their formation. They represent a compact history book for the global climate which is full of climate change lessons and examples.

I am an ecologist with a doctorate degree and an educationalist with a master's degree, who has combined the basic knowledge of ecology with educating people. I believe that we can bring about the most lasting change in society through better education, that is, the ability to think in complex systems and guide our behavior according to our knowledge.

It is very important that we do everything we can to protect our environment at the local level, in our own environment. In addition, existing good practices at the municipal level need to be disseminated in order to develop a wide-ranging and effective approach.

As an Ambassador for the European Climate Pact, I am dedicated to:

1. Fostering an Active Community: Empowering youth and creative communities through Web3 technology to actively support urgent climate action.
2. Mobilizing Resources: Seeking opportunities to support impactful projects and programs addressing climate change challenges.
3. Active Participation in COP28 and Beyond: Contributing insights, perspectives, and expertise to shape effective climate policies and agreements at international conferences.

Through these responsibilities, I aim to make a meaningful impact as a European Climate Pact Ambassador, leading by example in climate action and environmental protection.

I work as a freelancer & I am a business expert in sustainable urban development (1992 – onwards). I am cofounder of Just Transition Institute Greece. JTIG is a non-profit civil partnership with the main goal of implementing scientific activities in support of the effort of the affected areas to the developmental transformation during the period of lignite phase out. My Vision is to Assist & support institutions, companies, employees, unemployed and all citizens in the EU Just Transition areas.

My main goal as a European Climate Pact Ambassador is to raise awareness among citizens about climate and green actions, in order to gain green consciousness and achieve the ultimate goal of climate neutrality. Through interactive events and extroversion, which will be achieved by networking between stakeholders and citizens, there will exchange good practices and know-how on how to build a green and sustainable future for all, realising the benefits that will arise from it. Because the future belongs to young people, their involvement in programmes related to environmental protection and climate neutrality will familiarise them with green development. 

Being a high school physics teacher, I would like to inspire students to commit to climate action and provide role models and scientific information. Awareness should be promoted, as well as collaboration with local communnity, authorities and enviromental groups. Additionally, my purpose would be to establish an academic reference for prospective university students regarding climate change, sustainability and green energy.

I sincerely care about the future of our planet and wish for us to safeguard it for future generations. Even small steps today can help to minimise our personal impacts on climate. We can not afford to leave it for tomorrow. As is well-known that "There is No Planet B" and we need to recognise that not all human-caused impacts can be repaired. 

Dimitrios Karnavos, holds an MSc in Sustainable and Local Development and he is an Economics BSc graduate. He has a license on Category 27 (Environmental Studies). He has been the Mayor of Kallithea since 2014. He also is the second Vice-President of the Central Union of Municipalities of Greece, a Member of the Board of the Committee of Regions, a Member of ENVE, and a Member of COTER. He was the rapporteur general on the 8th Environment Action Plan of the European Union which was approved by an overwhelming majority.

IHE is working in the public interest, and is committed to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, Paris Climate Agreement, and the EU Green Deal, to ensure a healthy environment for people and at the same time preserve the ecosystems of our planet. 

IHE is working on cross-sectoral collaboration in the field of health and the environment with a focus on Climate Change to educate, raise awareness, and build capacities.

I'm Attila from Budapest, Director of the Center for Systems Innovation (www.systemsinnovation.eu), Co-founder of PHYSI (www.physi.earth) and PhD at Central European University (www.ceu.edu). In the past decade I learned the limitations of ‘business as usual’ approaches to addressing systemic challenges, which solidified my commitment to work with change agents, encourage people to think critically, co-create, and look for creative solutions. Driven by a background in environmental engineering and economics, I focused my PhD on unlocking the transformative potential of nature in cities, worked globally from Canada to Singapore, taught at universities from Mongolia to Estonia, and met wonderful people along the way. My goal as an ambassador is to share my professional learnings and scale systems approaches to tackle fundamental sustainability challenges, forge partnerships, and build capacity - through CSI I will organize trainings for teachers, companies, and hackathons for students.

As climate ambassador, I want to leverage my role as a research fellow and circular economy specialist at the Circular Economy Research Center in Paris and especially my role as dissemination, exploitation and training manager in the SmartShip H2020 project to communicate about climate action through conversations, interactions, social media campaigns, publications and knowledge sharing with a diverse network of stakeholders, including project partners, coworkers, friends, family, etc.
