These are some of the things that could describe my life up to now and some of my values that I would love to share with the whole world! We are facing a global struggle and acting together as a group with social responsibility is what we should do for us and for our children. The climate is changing! So should we!

As an ambassador from the cycling community, I will be highlighting ways to improve things, educating and reaching people on social media and through my app.

As chair of the network ‘Water & climate’, 14 municipalities, regional safety & security authority, management governance board, I facilitate exchange of expertise on climate adaptation. We develop public spaces for multiple uses: retain water, green oases, recreation. In the city of Nieuwegein where 2000 new houses are built, we use the SDGs to bring together ambitions to strengthen biodiversity, circular building, clean public transport and circular water management.

I am a social and environmental psychologist with a lot of experience researching the energy transition. My research examines micro- (i.e. individual) and meso-level (e.g. social networks) and macro (geographical, technical) drivers of decision-making and behaviour change in sustainable energy consumption. In my work I draw on theories and empirical evidence from multiple fields, working in inter-and transdisciplinary national and international research projects. My motivation as a Climate Pact ambassador is to talk to, reach, and engage the hard-to-reach segments in society and involved them in climate change related talks and actions.

As a professor in Maritime & Transport at Delft University Technology, I am active in research and education to achieve the climate ambitions for the emission-intensive transportation sector. I am convinced that transdisciplinary innovations (involving industry, policymakers, research institutes, and NGOs) and educated people with cross-disciplinary skills are instrumental to confronting the climate challenges of our time.

As a Pact Ambassador, I commit to activating as many individuals and groups as I possibly can to achieve the climate targets in the transportation sector, within the year to come. To this end, I will (1) develop an open-access online course (TU Delft MOOC) on decarbonising transport, (2) I will found an international project task force to promote a roadmap for net zero emissions ports, and (3) I will initiate an online webinar series on decarbonising the maritime sector to connect maritime users to innovators with climate solutions.

As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I aim to advocate for climate justice and young voices from the Global South. My goal is to make the climate crisis more tangible and get people engaged by using storytelling and effective climate communication. Together with young people from around the world, I want to develop new narratives for a future we all want to strive for! 

As a highschool student, climate change has been normalised and overlooked my entire life. As an Ambassador, I intend to change this by educating students just like myself. In 2021 I co-founded SPUN Youth, a climate youth organisation, advocating for the protection of underground fungal networks. SPUN Youth is motivated by their tremendous importance. To be an Ambassador of the EU Climate Pact would mean exciting things for SPUN Youth with our mission for education and activation of the youth.

I am an environmental novel writer, lecturer and reporter. I work on climate justice issues for the historical Italian Tv program Geo - Rai3. As scientific communicator and climate literacy expert I collaborate with Radio3scienza and other Tv programs. Throughout my books and projects I work with schools and universities to foster climate literacy. I have been member of the Eucra Sounding Board for the first European Climate Risk Assessment and I am project leader of many initiatives about climate justice and related issues, such as United Mountains of Europe and Diritto a REsistere/Right to Resist.

One of the founders of FridaysForFuture Italy, I am also ambassador of the Mediterranean Sea Foundation and of the Filicudi Wildlife Conservation and explorer for the Society of Woman Geographers. My commitment in science storytelling and climate education is focused on the interconnection among climate justice, human rights and biodiversity.

Specialist in low carbon economy, with technical training in environment and innovation: Civil Engineering, Master in Environmental Sciences and Master in Innovation Management. My professional experience is in the field of environment and sustainability since 2000. I have developed more than 50 renewable energy projects, especially in Spain, but also in Europe and Latin America and participated in several Innovation Projects, in the European Framework, on environment and sustainability.

Yes, I did! I counted elm leaves! I performed the performative manifesto "The body of the elm" claiming that Kamariškių elm is a significant entity in creating the identity of the restored manor. The coding of the meaning field is proportional to the density of the imagination. I raise a question about whether 80% of our activities are more significant than this counting of leaves.

After a close look at 13,948 pages, these theses became clearer. I counted four days of 3 hours. The crown of the peak remained unreached, according to a preliminary estimate, another 4-5 thousand. I am a young person who cares deeply about the environment and the forms of life that Earth has been sustaining for billions of years. I have decided that one of my personal and professional missions will be acting for a more sustainable world. With a Master in Ecology, experience working on projects at the European Institute Foundation and a strong desire to be a change-maker, I am committed to making my contribution towards a more aware, climate literate and nature conscious human society.

I believe with my activities as a Climate Pact Ambassador, I will be able to lay the foundations for a bridge between the needs of the planet that scientists fight for and the needs of the people who feel left behind and deprived of justice. My planned activities are concentrated on interactions with young people, public discussions with citizens from remote regions, and curbing disinformation by creating a climate-focused fact-check with the support of the Bulgarian National Radio. 

I would like to take part in initiatives such as planting trees and supporting negative emissions technologies - as I am currently doing by donating to the organizations Plant for The Planet and Climeworks, respectively. 

But I would also like to highlight the need for a market for values such as environmentalism, which would make experiences of the benefits of green initiatives a means of exchange complementary to money - a means which does not foster spread of values across society.

As a teacher and resident in the area near Athens International Airport, I am interested in collaborating with European citizens and organisations facing similar issues.

I hope with all my heart that this movement will improve our lives and establish the foundation for a better future for Europe... for the planet - our HOME!

Trained as an architect specialized in green building and ecoconstruction, I am very active in architecture and climate change interest groups

I plan to network together with professionals from the sector committed to acting on the appropriate stakeholders that motivate changes in regulations and ways of constructing throught all the life cycle of a buiilding to achieve a built environment of zero carbon footprint and that generate a sustainable and healthy environment.

I am a 19-year-old Climate Activist based in Barcelona. I focus my activism on climate education and intersectionality. I plan to fulfill the mission of ambassador, by continuing to spread scientific knowledge about climate change and making it accessible to both the youth and people outside the scientific sphere. Furthermore, I also plan on teaching and making the vision of Climate Justice horizontal on all levels of my activism with my podcast Zinnia, focused on intersectionality.

Climate change is an issue concerning all humans around the world and therefore, collective action is key to avoid the direct consequences of this problem. As usually said, there is no planet B and the actions that we undertake today will immensively determine what the future holds for our societies.

As an European Climate Pact Ambassador, I am committed to raise awareness of this emergency and encourage young people to act to fight climate change both locally and at the EU level. 

As a designer, sculpture & crafter, I am dedicated to teaching and design, developing new solutions and skills in Eco Design, Sustainable Fashion and Craft Design. As President of Between Parallels – Ass. for Design & Sustainable Development, I am focused on reaching out to my peers, people and organisations in interviews, seminars, workshops, sharing professional knowledge; interconnecting eco design practices with traditional industry, developing projects with local crafters and their knowledge.

I am the Chairperson of Elan Inc, a management consulting firm actively involved with sustainable development goals, currently supporting hundreds of educational institutions and corporate around the world on matters pertaining to sustainability. I have a sustainability professional, and am an author and researcher with extensive background in sustainability in businesses and institutions.

I want to raise awareness about the agri-food system and the need to adapt the food sector to make it more sustainable and how it influences climate change.

I intend to make visible the environmental impact of food waste, its consequences for the planet and people's lives.
