The online event will focus on the topic of sustainable agriculture, aiming at showcasing the engagement of private stakeholders in building successful experiences in wine production at local level, from Isola Augusta company in Friuli Venzia Giulia to Chianti bio district in Tuscany, through ChiantiForm activities. The main objecitve is raising the attention of public authorities and the public, about positive environmental impact of innovative green technologies, upgrading skills, and econimic growth in the market of sustainable wine products, ensuring low CO2 consumption towards climate neutrality.

Description
The Isola Augusta family farm has distinguished itself over time for the production of wine based on an ecological and sustainable approach, starting with the use of renewable energy sources for the management of the vineyards. The far-sighted company policy, based on respect for the environment and low CO2 emissions, has also been recognized as a virtuous model by the national Legambiente. The initiative is part of the EU side events to COP 26, whose candidacy was officially selected by DG Climate - European Commission - as EU side event, within the topic 'Agriculture, land use and forests', together with that of CHIANTIFORM in Tuscany.
