Satellite event: SDG11 EU and NL Youth inventory session

Goal of the event:

This hybrid event will be focused on collecting inputs from the young people in the Netherlands (physical) and Europe (digital) on SDG 11 with any and all interlinkages.

These inputs will be fed into the process directly in two folds:

1) Via the formal Major Groups and other Stakeholders report

2) Constituency report by the Children and Youth Constituency for Sustainable Communities (SDG11) under the UNMGCY (Major Group for Children and Youth which is the official mechanism of UN Youth engagement on SDGs and wider processes). Each constituency report is integrated in the wider whole secretariat report.

The High Level Political Forum is the most crucial process of the UN after the UN general assembly and it`s the best opportunity for children and youth to give their inputs on the progress that they want to see from their countries (or any member state of interest) via the formal Major Groups and other Stakeholders report.
