Description
This webinar, organised by the Community of the Italian ambassadors of the European Climate Pact, deals with the role that citizens can have to fight climate change. Mayors and councillors of five medium and large Italian cities (Firenze, Verbania, Fermo, Latina and Maruggio) will illustrate projects aimed at containing emissions of greenhouse gases, improve mobility, reduce energy consumption, etc. All these cities are part of the Covenant of Mayors, an initiative launched by the European Commission in 2008 as a network of cities that choose to launch a coordinated set of actions to tackle climate change.
