Satellite event: HExperience - Virtual Congress on Architecture, Engineering, Innovation and Sustainability - Roundtable Energetic Certifications, BIM & Retrofitting

For the second consecutive year, Zigurat Global Institute of Technology will host Hexperience, the Virtual Congress on Architecture, Engineering, Innovation, and Sustainability that brings together the most influential stakeholders in the industry. The triple online conference will be held on March 8, 9, and 10 and will take place through Zigurat's 360º virtual building and be open to the public, will bring together interactive sessions aimed at generating dialogue, learning, and business opportunities in the respective areas of knowledge.

Energetic Certifications, Retrofitting

Europe is targeting to become 1st carbon neutral continent in the world. There are methods and standards for new construction. Yet existing built stock covers more energy load then new ones. Thus, main focus should be paid more on retrofitting. For that reason, methods should be brought into a broader public and increase awareness of benefits of openBIM Standards. Deep Energy Retrofits could be well documented with open standards and workflows, which will be demonstrated during this event. As a support and to promote EU Renovation Wave some ideas and potential solutions will be discussed with USGBC Europe.
