Description

The Institute of Smart and Healthy Cities at TJU and the Università Iuav di Venezia, Italy, present the joint Symposium: Cities under Climate Threat. Understanding the Impact of Climate Change: Policies, Urban Design, Economics, Environment and Population Health
12 Speakers from Italy and the US will present their viewpoints and engage in a panel discussion. The Symposium will be a virtual public event broadcast via Zoom. All presentations will be online via zoom. The Symposium will focus on the interrelationship between climate change and urbanization, technological innovation, demographic trends, and population health. It will look at how cities can better prepare for future global crises. The Symposium will be attended by academics, scientists, entrepreneurs, and leaders in architecture, engineering, population health, and city government. The American Association of Retired People AARP supports this Symposium.
