Description

Whether you want to help drive emissions reductions in your daily life or are working towards net zero on behalf of a business, a community, an education institution or a public authority, you can play a part in Zero Emissions Day – happening each year on 21 September!

The Climate Leadership Coalition (CLC), a Climate Pact Partner, has published a guide for the European Climate Pact community to introduce Zero Emissions Day and suggest specific ways to support emission reductions. The guide includes sets of ideas for activities you could organise in different settings, such as:

  • cities and municipalities
  • schools, universities and research institutions
  • sports, cultural and other communities.

A case study and examples of collaborative action from Finland help put the suggestions into context too.

Check out the guide to get inspired to take action!
