Quick Guides for Climate Adaptation

Across Europe, communities are feeling the impact of intensifying climate pressures, with major events becoming more frequent and more disruptive. In response, REGILIENCE+ has released the Quick Guides for Climate Adaptation to support regions and communities as they work to address and reduce the devastating effects of climate change.

Presented together in a single, accessible booklet, Quick Guides offer clear, practical support by focusing on eight major climate risks: flash floods, river floods, coastal floods, droughts, ice and snow, heatwaves, storms and wildfires.

The guides equip you with practical tools to assess climate risks, learn from adaptation efforts already underway and identify concrete actions you can implement locally. Each chapter includes a QR code that provides direct access to additional resources, enabling you to take informed, effective action for your region or community.

Based on cooperation and real experiences from across Europe, these guides enable regions to learn from one another to support faster, more informed decision‑making that strengthens climate resilience.
