Community of European Railway and Infrastructure Companies (CER)

The Community of European Railway and Infrastructure Companies (CER) is the representative body of the European rail sector.  

CER advocates for policies that strengthen rail as the backbone of sustainable mobility and promote a fair, efficient and competitive transport system in Europe. 

It develops policy positions, coordinates member expertise through working groups, engages with EU institutions, and organises events to share knowledge and promote innovation in rail transport. 

CER works closely with EU policymakers, national authorities, rail operators, infrastructure managers, industry partners, and non-governmental and research organisations across Europe.
