The webinar is a part of European Public Health week - “Mental Health and Environment” brings together experts in public health, urban planning, and environmental protection to explore the relationship between mental health and the environments we live in. Prof. Dr. Vanja Vasiljev presents the HORUS Project at the University of Rijeka, focusing on how urban spaces influence psychological well-being and emphasizing the importance of human-centered city planning.

Prof. Dr. Marija Jevtić highlights the role of citizen engagement and urban greening through initiatives such as Rotary Climate Action, showing how collective efforts can improve mental health and quality of life. Dr. Vlatka Matković offers a broader public health perspective, stressing the need for investment in sustainable systems and policies that connect human and environmental health. 

The webinar underscores the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in addressing modern mental health challenges in urban settings, encouraging innovative and sustainable solutions.
