Hybrid event online and physical for families and young student. Climate change and environmental pollution enter our homes every day, in the food we eat, in the air we breathe, and in the spaces where our sons and daughters grow. Pregnant women and children are among the most vulnerable to these changes: exposure to air pollutants, chemicals present in domestic environments, and alterations to ecosystems can influence developmental stages even before birth, with effects on respiratory, neurological, and immune health. Yet, alongside the risks, science also points us to concrete and accessible directions: biodiversity-oriented dietary choices, more conscious daily habits, and above all, contact with nature, which represents a precious resource for the physical and emotional well-being of mother and child, both during pregnancy and in the first years of life.
This meeting aims to guide families and future parents on an informative and practical journey: understanding the real risks associated with our environment, learning to recognize and reduce them in everyday life, and rediscovering the therapeutic value of nature as an ally of health. An optional afternoon in the adjacent grove will round out the day, offering a direct experience of reconnecting with the natural environment. Because protecting our sons and daughters begins with the choices we make today.
