Meet the speakers  

Our guest speakers will include: 

Cedefop (the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training) is an EU agency that supports the European Commission, EU Member States and social partners in developing and implementing vocational education and training (VET) and skills policies. Cedefop's work on the green transition is anchored in the  Cedefop Green Observatory. Two representatives from Cedefop will be joining the webinar: Stelina Chatzichristou, expert in skills intelligence and foresight and Jasper Van Loo, expert and department coordinator for skills and labour market.. 

Asfand Yar has been a Climate Pact Ambassador since 2025 and has worked in the field of environmental impact assessment since 2021. He began his career in building mechanical systems before shifting into climate action, a transition he will discuss during the webinar. Asfand Yar is driven by a commitment to turning climate ambition into lasting change and is particularly passionate about empowering young people to become the climate leaders this moment needs. He believes the next generation isn't just inheriting this crisis; they're going to solve it. 

The School for Moral Ambition is a Dutch non-profit foundation established in 2024. The organisation encourages professionals to direct their talent and careers toward the major challenges of our time, such as climate change. Since its founding, the School has grown into a movement of more than 25,000 members across 150 countries. Through fellowships and an active community, it helps people transition into work with real societal impact. Alexander Kok and Lieve Poulis are managing the EU Food Transition program at the School for Moral Ambition and will be joining the webinar.
