On 19 March 2025, members of the Climate Pact community gathered in Brussels to lead and participate in sessions on key topics such as climate adaptation, youth activism, inclusive climate action, overcoming eco-anxiety, and AI’s role in driving climate action. Attendees from across the community and the wider public heard personal stories from the frontlines of climate action and enjoyed valuable networking opportunities with changemakers from across Europe.
In the afternoon, a conversation with Wopke Hoekstra, European Commissioner for Climate, Net Zero and Clean Growth, focused on the EU’s latest initiatives. This was followed by a panel discussion with Kurt Vandenberghe, Director-General for DG Climate Action, on innovative solutions to accelerate an inclusive transition.
