EU Climate Action Academy webinar: Youth climate leadership fundamentals

We’re excited to announce the first in a new wave of EU Climate Action Academy webinars!

Join youth climate leadership fundamentals to explore how young people and their allies can drive positive action.

This event is for you if you’re:

  • a young person involved in climate action who wants to make a bigger impact;
  • a youth leader in search of fresh strategies and inspiration; 
  • a professional, volunteer, youth worker, or activist of any age who wants to empower young climate leaders.

Climate Action Academy Speakers

The webinar will not only explore the fundamentals of youth leadership and practical opportunities, but also share inspiring insights from Pact Ambassadors who serve as youth climate leaders on the local, national and international stage.

Our guest speakers will include (pictured from left to right):

Ellen Chigwanda (Senior Technical Advisor, CARE Zimbabwe): A leading voice in climate change education and skills, who has supported the development of a comprehensive toolkit for youth on adaptation & leadership.

Diana Kaekebeke (Training & Capacity Lead, CARE Climate Justice Center): Responsible for the CARE Climate & Resilience Academy, focused on strengthening the capacity of individuals and organisations to lead climate initiatives worldwide.

Aurora Audino (Pact Ambassador and Senior Officer, SEforALL): A UN initiative leader and powerful youth advocate participating in climate negotiations since COP26.

Dr. Martin Velichkov (Pact Ambassador and Co-President, Youth for a Green Future): An activist focused on youth empowerment and amplifying young voices in decision-making..
