This initiative concerns a sustainable picnic at Antonis Tritsis Park, which will serve as the central activity and will include multiple complementary actions such as experiential and educational games, as well as climate walks for both adults and children.

The initiative aims to function as a practical local climate action, linking food and nutrition with awareness and education on environmental protection.

The objectives of this activity are to inform and raise awareness about the interconnection between climate resilience, sustainable food systems, and environmental protection, to inform citizens about the European Climate Pact, and to encourage networking and collaboration between citizens and EU Climate Pact Ambassadors. At the same time, the event will offer a pleasant collective experience in a natural environment within the urban area, while promoting the adoption of good practices by participants, including practical sustainable actions that they can easily replicate in their everyday lives.

The activity will take place over approximately four hours, in coordination with the management of Antonis Tritsis Park, as well as with organizations based within the park, local schools, INZEB, and AE4RIA.
