Dancing for Our Planet: Moving Together for Climate Action

This climate awareness event is organised by European Climate Pact Ambassador Chara Karakosta in collaboration with her dance instructor and local dance school community. The activity uses dance as a creative tool to raise awareness about climate change, environmental protection and collective action. A specially designed choreography, inspired by the themes of nature, sustainability and community engagement, will be presented as a special event of the dance school’s annual performance.

The event will bring together children, parents and members of the local community, creating an opportunity to communicate climate messages through art and movement. The main objective of the event is to demonstrate that climate action can be expressed through creativity, culture and everyday activities, inspiring audiences to reflect on their relationship with the environment and encouraging positive actions for the protection of our planet.
