Climate Action Days: Salviamo il bosco Morroni - Azione di semina e piantumazione alberelli nel bosco Morroni incendiato dai piromani

Schools and civil society are committed to planting saplings in the Morroni forest, which was set ablaze by criminal minds and hands.

The Morroni Forest is owned by the Municipality of Monte San Giovanni Campano (FR), Italy. It has suffered devastating fires several times. Since 2021, our association, along with the students of the Monte San Giovanni Campano Comprehensive School, have planted over 400 oak trees.

The project, called "Save the Morroni Forest," is a candidate for the National Landscape Award promoted by the Council of Europe and the Jay Award promoted by Alberitalia. We are managing to repair the damage caused by the fire with great sacrifice and goodwill, without any public financial contribution.

The objectives are: environmental education for young participants, recovery of ecosystem services, recovery of the habitat of native species, protection of biodiversity.
