The evening will combine expert discussions, a documentary screening, and active audience participation through a workshop-game.
It will open with a round table discussion on the major challenges of urban adaptation to climate change, moderated by Lauren Boudard, journalist and co-founder of Climax, a committed fanzine that deciphers climate and social issues through an accessible and powerful approach.
Among the first confirmed speakers are:
- Quentin Quesquière – an urban planner specializing in the adaptation of cities to climate change, he works on the transformation of urban spaces in the face of climate risks.
- Flora Mattei – an expert in urban policy and territorial resilience, committed to issues of ecological transition and climate justice.
The round table will be followed by the screening of a documentary highlighting the human impacts of climate change.
The evening will then continue with the serious game Ville A'venir, a participatory experience inviting the public to collectively explore adaptation scenarios and imagine more livable, inclusive, and resilient cities by 2050.
Supported by the Ambassadors of the European Climate Pact, this initiative is part of a broader awarenessraising and mobilization effort before, during, and after the event.
It will be an opportunity to understand, discuss, and look ahead together to the future of our cities.
