This event is a community-driven "Cleaning Day" organized to celebrate the 5th anniversary of JesiClean in collaboration with the Municipality of Jesi.
The activity is integrated into the International Women's Day celebrations, specifically marking the inauguration of the "Alfonsina Strada" Park, dedicated to the pioneer of gender equality in sports.
The event follows a walking-cleanup format: participants will gather at 9:30 AM at the new Alfonsina Strada Park (Via San Francesco/Via Inghilterra) and move through the city streets collecting litter, ending at 11:30 AM at the Church of San Pietro Martire.
Objectives include promoting urban decorum, raising awareness about waste reduction, and fostering community spirit. To symbolize the link with International Women's Day, all participants will be provided with cleaning kits and a pink ribbon to wear during the activity.
The event concludes with a community refreshment.
