I am an environmental educator, activist and seed guardian from Slovenia, based in Italy ina multicultural and border region in the heart of Mediterrean Mitteleuropa. I'm specialized in in Sustainability, Environmental ethics and Environmental education and I work as a freelance climate coach, helping students, teachers and educators adopt systems thinking and positive approaches to global and local challenges. I adore dry stone building and goats.

I am a wellbeing advocate and believe in living life with purpose by connecting with humanity. I actively promote sustainability in everyday living and seek for ways to move towards a circular economy for a better planet. As an active global citizen, I take the initiative to make a real difference in the lives of others for a better world.

Mr. Wadsak worked as Weather-Anchor on the most popular morning show on Austrian radio and also as weather presenter on ORF television.

Mr. Wadsak has been head of the ORF-TV weather department since 2014. Mr. Wadsak is deeply committed to climate communication.

He has been a member of the ‘Climate Broadcasters Network and is a founding member of ‘Climate without Borders’. He was Journalist of the year 2019 (Science Category) and wrote a book about Climate Change in 2020.

Promoting climate action in theory is relatively easy. It only takes passionate and informed people trying to solve the issues of today and of our future generations, however challenges arise when it comes to organisation, group work and concerted efforts. As part of the DGENV ambassadors, my plan is to take up a leadership role to coordinate and motivate people to convince them that every contribution helps. To maximise our results we need to bring out the best in people, which is my goal.

In my role as European Climate Pact Ambassador, I will:

• Utilise my network of scientists (I am a grant writer in bioeconomy/climate/sustainability fields), climate activists & local/national politicians to inform & engage Helsinki residents in taking concrete steps towards climate action;
• Communicate knowledge on challenges/solutions;
• Organise events & share local context-specific solutions, taking into account views & ideas of residents;
• Develop policy recommendations for Helsinki.

I am a member of the Danish Youth Climate Council. We are innovatively helping the ministry of climate by proposing solutions, gathered from youth, firms and NGOs in Denmark.

We are working on the implementation of Local Youth Climate Councils. Where youth gets a chance to interact with local politicians and help shape local climate action and events. Giving youth an insight into politics and organise events to gather around the topic of climate change. 

As an advocate for sustainable development goals for years, I deem it a great privilege to serve as a climate ambassador of this reputable network.

Targets for this project are:

1. Training and educating a lot of students and the youth on Climatic changes and its impacts through conferences and workshops
2. Volunteering activities on conserving oceans, forest, and biodiversity
3. Mobilizing the youth on volunteering experiences like clean up exercises and plastic waste recycling activities

Through the Ambassadorship, I use my knowledge and skills from the area of both economy, commercial aviation and soaring in order to help reduce the carbon footprint of the airline industry

I am a climate ambassador at heart. I share knowledge, initiated discussions and proactively gave strategic input for businesses on how to drive climate solutions. 

As an official ambassador I:

1. Share scientific knowledge and climate solutions on social media, e.g. LinkedIn and Instagram
2. Give strategic input to entrepreneurs and companies to build more impactful businesses, e.g. leverage core competencies for climate solutions 

As an Ecological Climate Pact Ambassador, I would like to focus on the synergy of ecological and climate awareness actions that we have been already undertaking in the ROBYG S.A., as a part of ESG policy, with promoting climate pact values. As a company, we are sharing those values and promoting among our clients and local communities and advocating climate actions on a regional and national level. I truly believe that what we do today for climate protects the future of the next generations.

Having served in the scientific community for the past one decade opened my eyes to the sad reality that policy makers make decisions solely based on scientific literature despite the acknowledgement of the importance of grey literature. As an ambassador, I am determined to change the game and close the knowledge gap for better policy and decision making process to accelerate the actual transition to Circular Economy.

In my role as a Berlin delegate to the Federal Conference of Parents for future, I am interfacing local and nation-wide activities.

I am advertising climate justice actions by managing the Instagram account of P4F Berlin.

I always see myself as a link between technology and people, because explaining complex stuff has been my job for 30 years.

I use my own Instagram account to collect climate-relevant technical news for people who do not regularly read engineering newspapers.

Innovative Small-Medium Enterprises (SMEs) could play a significant role for raising awareness for Climate Pact Objectives. The training of their employees and the SME Owners, the inclusion of Climate Pact Goals in their operations and the Dissemination of their relevant activities as Best Practices could have multiple advantages both for our Climate and the Companies' operations. My role as an ambassador will be to encourage more SMEs to introduce such actions in their activities in Greek and European Level

Sustainability is the way to reach the global goal of humankind existence - to keep the Earth for future generations. As an Ambassador I could manage the local activities to make them more sustainable and appropriate for the climate challenge. My key aim is to enhance the role of individual actions and ecological habits for the global SDG prospective of the climate change fight. 

My main focus is to advocate for the climate issues and problems facing the environment in the EuroMediterranean basin.

As I was involved in lots of national and international networks focused on the development field and climate resilience, I can access different profiles of the Climate community, especially Activists ,Volunteers and Decision makers.

My activities will focus on creating social trends and proper awareness to climate crisis like beach cleanups.

As a Climate Pact Ambassador, my main goal is to leave a liveable world to future generations against the climate crisis, which is the common problem of all humanity. As a spokesperson of nature and future generations in this direction, I aim to raise awareness of the society and to spread good practices by finding them together. We can act in solidarity and cooperation as an entire society in stronger connection with the world to create awareness of climate.

To see the effects of climate change, there is no need to look far ahead.

More than 50% of the world's population lives in cities today. Metropolises are the most important and powerful local administration bodies in Turkey. In the last 5 years, I had an active role for preparing the Denizli CCAP. Climate change is a multi-disciplinary issue. Under my responsibilites at Municipality in the last 12 years I had an active role on many studies, groups and projects which are contribution to public welfare.

As a law school student, I am planning to focus on the legal aspect and policy-making processes of climate change actions. I think that I can focus on climate change issues in collaboration with human rights protection and global cooperation perspectives.
