As the owner of the first zero-waste online store in Bulgaria, I would like to use my knowledge and skills to help people reduce waste at home and at work. I am planning to achieve that by educating the audience about the principles of the Zero Waste Movement and providing concrete tips on how each one of us can reduce their waste. I will focus on organising lectures on waste reduction, local clean-ups, initiatives about planting trees and flowers and organising upcycling workshops.I am also the author of the book "Menstruation from A to Z".

Having worked for the EU until now, I would like to bring positive change on climate and environment in my country, Spain, and my region, Valencia. I intend to connect international and EU policy on climate and environment with action at local level; and engage with local authorities in the implementation of the EU recovery plan. I will engage in social media, teach and write articles on the European Green Deal; and organise activities on Mediterranean, forests, biodiversity & green buildings

Communication is key if we want to make the message of sustainability attractive and accessible.

I have an online platform (prettygreenlily.com) where I raise awareness about sustainable fashion and sustainable lifestyle alternatives and talk about the science and facts behind sustainability in fashion.

I believe that there is strength in numbers and that simple changes in our individual lifestyles can build up to meaningful systemic change – a change that starts with knowledge and awareness.

• Promote green local initiatives through advisory services and help in raising funds. Make them visible and scale up the sustainable and impactful ones.
• Share and transfer knowledge and success cases related to the issue: business schools, universities.
• As a nextgen member, ensure that society is aware of the threats, challenges and responsibility we have in order to improve the world. All through conferences or digital platforms (blogs, newspapers, etc.).

I have devoted my life to the preservation of Mother Earth. That´s why I am the founder and President of Sustenta Foundation, which traces back to 2008. We have run 30 project of social awareness of climate emergency reaching out 20.000 people on-site. My flagship project is the “Great Alliance for the Planet” (GAP) an international bottom-up social movement to fill the GAP between awareness and climate action https://www.sustenta.org/manifiesto-gap/

As a biologist with many years of professional experience in the field of environmental inspection and auditing and now, as a member of the CoR, I transfer that previous experience into a sincere commitment, within the scope of my current competencies, to combat climate change, ensure that the much-needed energy transition is an opportunity to create wealth and new opportunities, betting on sustainable mobility and digital transformation.

I was born close to the Atlantic Ocean near Doñana National Park. I could understand the importance of biodiversity. As industrial engineer I did work in international energy projects, As local councilor I did understand the capacity of public institution to change reality sharing it with social activity. In my actual employment as asesor in the Ecological Transition Minister I have understood how laws can stop Climate change I want to talk with society about their activist powers.

I am a climate and energy policy consultant with a special interest for urban/city issues. As an Ambassador, I will help share knowledge on how to reduce the climate impacts in cities, including actions to share space and products more efficiently, introducing nature-based solutions and planning cities for people. 

Beside my PhD in Environmental and Energy Engineering and my role in the city Council, I commit on a daily basis to making lower impact choices. But I am not convinced that we will be able to fight the climate crisis if we leave the responsibility to the goodwill of virtuous citizens. Only by turning the crisis into an opportunity to improve the quality of life of people, can we hope to suceed. I believe we need to be ambitious, practical, concrete, coherent, and to use a science based approach.

In talks/sessions I (M.Sc ITPD and Lektor) speak passionately and with humor about our modern lifestyle (without being condemnatory or missionary). After a session participants talk about an "Aha-experience" - which provides participants with "self-insight" that changes their structured/conventional thinking. I arrange climate-workshop settings (typical 20-40 persons in a climate-game session) where the audiences are divided into six different groups/personifications of climate profiles.

As a scientist in environmental chemicals and medical doctor, my activities coalesce around the impact of chemical pollution on our health. Everyday chemicals in personal care products, food and food contact materials, and in fabric and household items, microplastics and plastic additives, all take a toll on our health and the living environment while translating into climate change, and deteriorated sustainability and degraded biodiversity. I am committed to connecting environmental pollution and human health for medical professionals and beyond.

Ho curato la segreteria del Coordinamento dei centri naturali e spirituali “La Raccolta”, ho fondato, assieme ad altri, Il Comitato per il restauro del Corpo di Napoli, il Comitato che ha restaurato la statua del Nilo a Spaccanapoli con la raccolta di fondi fra cittadini.

Nel 2000 ho fondato il Comitato per il recupero Scale di Napoli e La Collina Gentile. Dagli anni '90 al 2007 sono stato dirigente regionale e Nazionale di Legambiente ed ho seguito il settore Turismo e Beni Culturali. Dal 2017 al 2023 sono stato eletto coportavoce nazionale di Green Italia.  Dall'1980 al 2023. Sono stato funzionario ad elevata qualificazione nel settore cultura e turismo del Comune di Napoli.

Translation: I am a sustainability cultural manager, registered with the national order of journalists. Since the 1980s I have focused my activities on: Environment, communication, cultural heritage, sustainable and responsible tourism. I founded Neapolis 2000 and joined Legambiente. I also managed the secretariat of the Coordination of Natural and Spiritual Centers "The Gathering,". With others, I founded The Committee for the Restoration of the Body of Naples, the Committee that restored the statue of the Nile in Spaccanapoli .

In 2000 I founded the Committee for the Restoration of the Stairs of Naples and La Collina Gentile. From the 1990s to 2007 I was regional and national manager of Legambiente and oversaw the Tourism and Cultural Heritage sector. From 2017 to 2023 I was elected national co-chair of Green Italia.  From 1980 to 2023. I was a senior official in the culture and tourism sector of the City of Naples.

As an Ambassador I wish to find the most interesting ways to communicate to the people about the Planet we live on. Learning about climate change can be fun and that is what I aim to prove.

I am an environmental engineer, specialised in the calculation of carbon footprints and the implementation of action plans. I wish to contribute to helping the European Union achieve its 2050 carbon neutrality target. This involves me volunteering in associations to increase awareness and sensitivity to climate issues; educating citizens on responsible actions they can take; and continuing to support companies to control their greenhouse gas emissions. I  also support and participate in the reforestation projects.

I will help spread awareness about climate change. As a privileged person, because of where I was born, I want not only me but also my children to step on green grass with their bare feet one day in the season when grass is supposed to grow. I want as many people as possible to understand the seriousness of the situation and understand why it is so important. Without increased awareness, nothing will change.

As Executive Director of the leading European railway association in Brussels, I will advocate rail as the backbone of zero-carbon mobility in Europe. In order to achieve an absolute greenhouse gas emission reduction target of 30% by 2030 compared to 1990 levels, and at the same time realise expected modal shift to rail, we will contribute to a wider debate on climate action. Railways took the opportunity provided by the European Year of Rail in 2021 to act as a Clean Mobility Ambassador.

I will use my position to engage citizens and communities in action for our climate and environment. Act locally, think globally and above all, transmit simple and practical ways to be more caring and respectful with our environment.

My commitment to the environment and sustainable development is preceded by my 20 years of public service. Climate change is a challenge that requires a global response acting from the local level under the principle of sub-division of the EU. Being an ambassador is an honor that allows us to create networks of committed people and create synergies in which we address different actions in favor of the environment and the climate.
