People have a major impact on the environment, with each individual emitting anywhere from 3.18 ton of GHG each year. Using renewable and clean energy will have a significant influence on climate protection. In my lectures, I have utilised a variety of applications to compute carbon footprints, water footprints, and climate effects, such as electricity maps and climate accounts. These apps motivate people and assist to reduce personal emissions. I hope I can further introduce these apps to new audiences.

I will organise the implementation of IT and digital tools in order to communicate on new developments and issues related to environmental issues. I will be responsible for organising face-to-face events intended to promote greentech companies to an uninformed public.

I live in Asturias, a privileged place that makes people aware of the need of their care and protection.

We need to know the worst problem we face as humanity, the climate change, and the best solutions we have to deal with it.

That's why I enjoy creating content and researching from a multidisciplinary perspective as an environmental scientist. It's time to act.

I am the dreamer of the Bird-Human cooperation system. I have been living and working in nature for more than a decade, so I was able to experience first-hand how much has changed around us in just a few years. And this change warns of many things - we must all hear its alarm bells. As an ambassador, my aim is to open the door of nature and to introduce as many people as possible to the dangers, big questions and proposed solutions of the roads ahead of us. I would like to introduce my followers to the world of the livable future, in which we not only discover the beauties of the world around us, but also do everything to ensure that these treasures remain with us for a long time. Whether it is nature, biodiversity, sustainable production, green solutions, responsible consumption or a change of attitude - I will be there to help!

The main aim of the Institute of climate neutrality is to bring solutions, raise awareness, build capacities and networks and support the initiative campaigns to accelerate the transformation of society to become real climate-neutral (net-zero).

I work as a climate innovation leader. Bringing together people to take climate action is my role and passion. I will arrange a hackathon for youth, create a climate investment plan for The City of Borås and create knowledge material that I will happily share with others within this network.

I'm planning to use my passion and knowledge of sustainability to engage and inspire others; to use my network to connect and empower others for sustainability and to use my position to drive cultural change and develop technical solutions.

In Liepāja city I have worked with environmental and climate issues already for years. Liepāja city has joined the Covenant of Mayors in 2012 and I am acting as the Committee of Regions' Covenant of Mayors Ambassador. The first thing we did to fight climate change was to improve the heat supply system. We are working for the residents to have convenient public transport and safe movement with bicycles. As the Ambassador I would like to reach out more to local inhabitants schools on the topics of environment.

My motto is "Think Green, Act Local". In the past years, I devoted myself to raising awareness about the environment and creating change at the grassroots level of my community. As an Ambassador, my mission is to stick to my values and keep being focused on spreading the message that we need to change now by adopting new habits, To achieve this, my main area of focus will be the planning and promotion of local activities about climate change in a combination with school visits.

In my role as a Climate Change Ambassador, I bring a distinctive blend of expertise and fervour to the cause, which complements my background as a Ph.D. candidate specialising in Energy and Sustainability. My intended initiatives center on closing the divide between state-of-the-art research and practical, implementable solutions. I intend to collaborate with academic institutions, industry influencers, and policymakers to communicate the most recent discoveries in climate science and sustainable energy technologies. Through partnerships, workshops, and advocacy for policy reform, I strive to stimulate inventive approaches that effectively address the challenges posed by climate change. Whether it involves nurturing cross-disciplinary discussions, advancing the adoption of renewable energy sources, or championing policies grounded in evidence, my goal is to serve as a catalyst for transformative change and an exemplar of well-informed leadership in the field of climate action.

In my pursuit as an alpinist, to climb the highest summit of each of the 7 continents, I traveled to the most remote places on Earth, witnessed the degradation of our planet’s natural environment and decided to act.

In 2020, I founded the organization “AWomanCanBe.org” focusing on women empowerment & collaboration for nature & environmental sustainability. Women For Nature and Women For Climate are not only our mottos but also our main initiatives.

However, I also use my professional experience as a communications and sustainability consultant to help promote climate action. Therefore, as EU Climate Pact Ambassador my contribution is in the field of raising public awareness about the environmental changes that occur, through the organization of events & inspiring projects that educate and motivate communities on climate crisis issues and the need for adaptation and resilience.

When I was 6 years old the snow was so big in Romania that it can cover half of my body after a night of heavy snowing. After 22 years in Romania is barely snowing in the winter in the same region that 22 years ago use to cover half my height. I love the nature the lakes, rivers, plants, animals, humans. Since I was young I loved planting trees and I always plant them on every patch of land that I own. I know Romania and I know the solutions to fix it's climate pollution.

Alessio Arena is the Scientific Director of Villa Tasca. Villa Tasca, through the enlightened project of Counts Giuseppe Tasca d'Almerita and Luisa Mainardi, started an environmental revolution in the history of Palermo, valorising the park surrounding the house and the historic garden to citizens and tourists. Today, the Villa Tasca park, saved from Mafia building speculation in Palermo, is the only true green lung in the fourth district of the city of Palermo.

I connect society, organisations, companies, experts and politicians for collaborative climate action with offline and online events. On my social media profiles I inspire, educate and engage with my followers for action.

As a former ERASMUS student in Paris and Vienna, it is my goal to educate about European achievements and encourage people to vote for climate action during the EU elections 2024.

My mission is to empower people for united action, becauseCOLLABORATION IS KEY. Together we are the solution! 

As a European Climate Pact Ambassador, with a deep passion for politics, economics and sustainability, as well as 5+ years of experience in climate action work, advocacy and campaigning on regional, national and international level, I am highly motivated to use my skills to create a more sustainable future for all. I am spearheading the Youth Climate and Sustainability Roundtables at Generation Climate Europe (GCE) that are instrumental in fostering meaningful intergenerational dialogue and articulating urgent climate demands of the youth to European Commissioners. Additionally, within Fridays for Future Europe (FFF), I am driving impactful campaigns focused on critical European climate policies. Through all my efforts, I aspire to amplify youth voices, drive extensive engagement and influence sustainable policy changes.

I am a sustainable development and climate change professional with experience in policy, performance and strategy development. I am a solution-oriented leader with a passion for sustainability, driven by my commitment to continuous improvement and orchestrating change through innovative partnership initiatives.

Stefano Armenia (PhD, MBA) is a research fellow in Business Organization at Link Campus University (Rome, Italy) and president of the Italian Chapter of the System Dynamics Society. He applies Systems Thinking and System Dynamics modeling and simulation to the management of policies and strategies in complex organizations, by evaluating and anticipating their social impacts, in the field of sustainable development (food, circular economy, water, transport, finance) and digital transformation.

I think education is the best way to grow citizens sensible to climate change so I will start by nominate a student responsible for his classroom. Then the nominated students will elect a team who will spread this model to other schools in the city. We will organize meetings twice a year to know the state of art and make a brainstorming to promote activities and actions that can help our area also in the summer when lessons are over.

This year as a climate ambassador I plan to organise or co-organise events focused on green energy and climate change. I will  try to make an impact by spreading the word about the benefits of green energy, effective urban planning and how every one of us can make a difference, both individually or as small groups for a big cause, namely our common planet.
