Meet our Ambassadors

I am an award winning design director who changed careers to work for better planetary and human health. As the initiator and chairman of NGO Frisk Mat I work with the three million tax financed meals served every day in Sweden as a tool and lever for system change. My ambassadorship will be used to emphasise, explain and communicate the importance of climate action within the daily work of our target group - all those who in some capacity wors with serving public meals in Swedish schools, hospitals and elderly care facilities.

As a Climate Pact Ambassador I will not only support the mission through my professional efforts, but also through behavioural changes at a personal level.

Designing a better future, a sustainable one. A lot of urgent actions are needed to reach the UN2030 Agenda, but a common one with high priority is linked with the climate. If climate is not secured, other actions could not be sustainable. I can feel need to act in favor of climate, so looking forward to create alliances that ensure a long term win relationship on benefit of all -public and private sector-. I can see it is possible. My mission is to share a message of hope, action and equality.

Through producing and creating inspiring social good events, content and encounters, as an Ambassador i want to be the spark that lights up the will of change makers to believe in science and in the power of collective action to great goals.

My main motivation is my believe in true compassion, my dream is to see people and communities in a road of evolution and respect with our beautiful balance with nature.

I am a researcher in the field of Environmental Law, specializing in Biodiversity Governance. I analyze how multi-level participatory governance frameworks will help the European Union in reaching the targets of the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030.

For the Climate Pact, I want to spread the message that protecting ecosystems and biodiversity is possible with the help of the several stakeholders. Public and private institutions and civil society can really make the difference together.

I am a Chemical Engineer currently working as a researcher for the National Technical University of Athens on a water-mining project in Cyprus.

As an ambassador I intend to tackle important environmental issues through reaching out to people and organisations, in order to map the regional problems and concerns and help to commit the authorities to take action. My motivation is to resolve daily problems that concern every European citizen.

An optimist with a vocation and an inveterate dreamer, I am not satisfied with merely observing the weariness of the Planet that is expressed in extreme weather phenomena.

My conscience prevents me from doing so.

From the forums in which I am present at BforPlanet and the Foro de la Economía del Agua, I will contribute to promoting change, to disseminating, raising awareness and encouraging this cultural revolution proposed by initiatives such as that of the European Climate Pact Ambassador

I see myself as an imperfect climate activist, because I understand that in the current social paradigm the only way to be perfect as a climate activist is to cease to exist. As I do not want to cease to exist, and neither do you - I believe that is also a reason that brought you here -, my work here will be focused on creating an active hope for our communities by developing a macro line of thought and reflection that will help us tackle social, and class struggles, that are the real promotors of this world catastrophe. My objective is to provoke my readers and ignite change through a world questioning.

I am a friend of the climate.

With more than 15 years working on Sustainability and as Director of “Companies for Sustainable Mobility” (www.movilidadsostenible.com.es), a coordinator of the National Mobility Awards; and as a teacher in different Masters in Sustainable Logistics, CSR, Circular Economy, Mobility, (EAE Business School, Loyola University, OBS Business School), I believe and work for a better and more sustainable world.

As an ambassador, I want to share all the developments and all the commitments that the European Union takes. Also, as a young girl I would like to inspire youth to take action.

I would be grateful to take part in different proposal. Lastly, I have been part of the DGENV Ambassadors.

I am a law graduate from the University of Valencia and a student of the Master's Degree in Environmental Law at the Rovira y Virgili University. I am also a member of Carmen Marques Ruiz's Rainbow Warriors team, and a worker at Icatalist S.L. Additionally, I am part of the Team Europe youth association, in its Climate Emergency group of the Valencian Community delegation.

The activities that I propose are events especially targeting the younger generations so that scientific knowledge reaches them and they not only become aware but take action.

In addition, I am going to spread the word on social networks, so that those who are less interested can see evidence in small videos that can help them become aware of climate change. Finally, I will write articles on Carmen Marques's blog so that the concerns of young people are heard and as a way of disseminating everything I am learning.

I am extremely motivated to help other people realise that climate action is positive, delivering better quality of life and a balance between people and nature. I am especially motivated to help spur action on the ground woth real projects, real benefits and real change

Antonia has a BSc. in Agricultural Chemistry and a specialist in Environmental Engineering & Technology. She founded BIOAZUL to promote sustainability, environmental protection & efficient water management. She works for the European Commission as an expert & evaluator for projects linked to sustainable water management, circular economy, nature-based solutions & resource sustainability. Motivations as contributing to the resolution of social challenges has led her to be active member in NGOs, keeping attention to the citizen.

As an ambassador, I wish to promote actions and create initiatives with consumers and actors in the fashion industry to make the industry more sustainable. My activity with Ecode will be a way for me to drive these changes in line with the objectives of sustainable development and the Climate Pact. I want to highlight the importance of biodiversity in our world and the need to act to ensure it is protected for future generations.

Our mission at World for Nature Conservation is to mobilise human communities at all levels, protect and conserve biodiversity, raise awareness, train people around the world, and disseminate research results in connection with the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). We also help small NGOs in Africa find funding for their ecological - educational projects.

I have been working as a lawyer for over 20 years. I am also involved in energy and I am convinced that the energy transition can play a fundamental role in combating climate change, but there is no time to waste. In addition to the commitment of governments, the commitment of citizens is indispensable. This is why I am ready "to take the field" to give my contribution as an ambassador to sensitize my community to face the path of the energy transition.

My main motivation is awareness. I once heard "If you want to change the world start in your neighborhood". As an Ambassador, I want to make the first mistakes and then encourage the others with what I learned, read, and experienced. As an environmental student, I also want to share content about my research and knowledges. I want to launch small project ( with S.M.A.R.T concept) and share/help/encourage people to do the same through different media.

It is a commendable commitment to work towards a thriving future for our kids and future generations. As a Climate Pact Ambassador, my role is crucial in raising awareness of climate solutions and promoting sustainable behavior. My international perspective and drive to connect across borders is instrumental in this role with Youth at the very center. I want to help inspire on the possibilities a sustainable future holds, working towards behavioural change and driving change together. It is indeed a global challenge that requires collaboration and dialogue across borders yet action applied locally.
