Founder & CEO Faroo, Environmental Engineer, Sustainable Tourism Consultant. Teresa is the founder of a social enterprise, Faroo, with the aim to transform tourism into a force for good. Committed to supporting local communities, she started working as an environmental engineer in international cooperation developing projects in Africa, South America, and South East on environmental issues and sustainable tourism. Now she works as sustainable tourism expert for the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and auditor for the main international certification bodies recognized by the United Nations. She also raises awareness on sustainability through her 60 seconds Green Corner on Instagram.
