Climate change is one of the defining challenges facing young people today, and during my studies in the field of Biotechnology, I quickly became enchanted by the potential of biotechnological research to combat this challenge. Now, as part of iGEM, my team and I intend to make our first steps in making a difference, both with our scientific work and our outspoken activism in the field.
