European Climate Pact Ambassador in France
After 20 years as a firefighter and a PhD in environmental sciences, I am now focussing on building resilience face to the increasing threat of wildfires.
Therefore I am buiding collaborative initiatives with researchers, private companies and end-users to:
- manage forests and wildlands in a more sustainable way;
- prepare citizens to face the risk;
- better protect buildings and infrastructures.
Limiting the extent and adverse impact of fires would lower the smoke and carbon emissions
