Hlib Mikhno

Introduction: Hlib Mikhno is European Climate Pact Ambassador in Ukraine, he works to promote relations between the EU and Ukraine, policies towards energy transition & climate neutrality, as well as local empowerment. Hlib has over 3,5 years experience in policy analysis and project management. Prior to EU institutions, he gained experience in both public and private sectors of Ukraine, including the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration and the largest oil & gas company Naftogaz. Hlib holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and a Master’s Degree with honours in Environment and Energy Security from the highest-ranked Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Recently Hlib Mikhno represented Ukraine during high-level public debates with Executive Vice-President of the European Commission Frans Timmermans and Commissioner for the Environment Virginijus Sinkevičius.
