Da bismo izgradili klimatski prihvatljivo društvo, moramo znati činjenice, razmjenjivati informacije i o tome razgovarati.
Europski klimatski pakt pridonijet će prenošenju znanja o znanstveno utemeljenim mjerama za zaštitu klime i biti osnova za angažman. U okviru pakta predstavit će se rješenja za inspiraciju i učenje te pomoći mrežama i zajednicama da prošire svoj angažman i utjecaj.
Što će se poduzimati u okviru pakta?
- Angažirat će se ambasadori, koji će surađivati s ljudima u svojim zajednicama i mrežama.
- Znanstvena saznanja pretočit će se u mogućnosti za svakodnevni angažman.
- Promicat će se klimatska pismenost i pridonijeti integraciji znanosti i rješenja u području klime u obrazovne programe.
- Razbit će se klimatski mitovi i iznijeti protuargumenti poricanju klimatskih promjena i pogrešnim informacijama, u skladu s mjerama za borbu protiv dezinformiranja i akcijskim planom za europsku demokraciju.
- Ljudima će se omogućiti okupljanje radi razmjene iskustava i ideja.
- Postojeće inicijative s više dionika iskoristit će se za informiranje javnosti.
