Para ello debemos sustentar nuestras acciones en la conciencia y en hábitos de compra y consumo responsables con todos.

I am an environmental volunteer with the clear conviction that the best action is by example.

I live in Andalusia, one of the areas of the EU where the impact of Climate Change is greatest.

Maintaining natural balances and ensuring that people's progress is compatible with biodiversity is our great collective challenge for the coming years.

To do this, we must support our actions in awareness and in responsible purchasing and consumption habits with everyone.

As an ambassador, you can set an example that things are achieved step by step. Every action is important, no matter how small. Achieving a 60% reduction in municipal consumption in a municipality with only 334 inhabitants is a significant feat.

I believe I can raise awareness among the citizens and other municipalities as a success story in green policies and the fight against climate change.

Furthermore, the media visibility I have as the mayor of my town will allow me to reach a broader audience, both nationally and within the European Union.

I am a professor of sustainable economy, climate activist, and advocate for youth engagement in environmental action. As External Relations Officer for Youth Environment Europe and President of the Youth Euroregion Pyrenees Mediterranean and Equipo Europa Catalunya, I’ve coordinated projects like Global Dialogues of Climate Justice and A Tree for Europe. As a European Climate Pact Ambassador, I plan to expand these efforts through workshops and outreach to engage underrepresented communities.

As a European Climate Pact Ambassador, with a deep passion for politics, economics and sustainability, as well as 5+ years of experience in climate action work, advocacy and campaigning on regional, national and international level, I am highly motivated to use my skills to create a more sustainable future for all. Fields that are regular to everyone as: The use of energy and different ways of reducing the consump in ways of investment and/or the effective use of electricity, - The consump of food, water and materials

New ways of travelling and transport, new ways of agriculture production,

I am the general director of the Bioparc Aquarium of Gijón. An institution that has more than 200,000 vistitors each year and that has three very clear objectives: conservation, research and dissemination. From my position in the company, I am very aware of the necessary fight against climate change. We collaborate with more than 30 educational and research institutions. I am a member of the animal welfare committee of Gijón City Council and I am a trustee of the Bioparc Foundation. 

El cambio climatico es un problema que nos afecta a todos y a todos los niveles, es por ello que debemos actuar rapidamente.

Un sector de vital importancia es el sector agricola, donde los efectos repercuten directamente por cambios en la fenologia de cultivos y en el bienestar animal. 

A su vez participan en el problema y como posible solución al actuar como sumideros de CO2, uno de los principales gases de efecto invernadero.

Es por todo ello que es necesario la concienciacion en este sector.

Climate change is a problem that affects us all at all levels, which is why we must act quickly.

One sector of vital importance is the agricultural sector, where the effects have a direct impact on crop phenology and animal welfare.

At the same time, they participate in the problem and as possible solution by acting as CO2 sinks, one of the main greenhouse gases.

It is for all these reasons that awareness in this sector is necessary.

Carlos is a sustainability enthusiast and a climate change advocate. He strives to contribute to climate dialogues and negotiations to implement highly ambitious goals. He was shocked when he first read an IPCC report and felt responsible to make a change.

Making use of several roles in these fields, Carlos wants to connect and empower people, focusing on those communities where he lives, the United Kingdom and Spain, to not only share ideas but to bring them to reality.

As an Ambassador, I will:

- inform with scientific evidence about the climate situation on my social media

- give talks in public places such as schools and other centers

- organize events such as plastic collections and tree plantations

- make recipes with sustainable food and without waste

- inform how to preserve the biodiversity of land and ocean

As an ambassador, I will share all my knowledge on the Climate Pact aims, including those attained as IPCC AR5 LA and IPCC AR6 CLA. My research is very close to the topic, which I will also share not only to my peers but also to the society through events and workshops.

I have nearly a decade of experience in climate change and sustainability, leading a team of over 20 professionals as a partner at Ecoterrae. As an Ambassador, I will share climate knowledge on LinkedIn for professionals and through my podcast, RouteESG, for the general public. I will create blog posts and weekly podcasts focused on climate action, aiming to reach tens of thousands of people to raise awareness and promote decarbonization and climate resilience.

Alicia Carrasco has been promoting a consumer centric energy transition since 2010 when she founded Smart EN. She has worked in the areas of new energy business models as Regulatory Affairs Director for Digital Grid at Siemens, European Government Director Affairs at Tesla and today as CEO of energy transition strategic consulting firm olivoENERGY and Executive Director and founder of entra Agregación y Flexibility. She identifies opportunities out of climate change and electrification actions.

I am a climate change activist involved in various forums and expert groups with a focus on innovation and climate change to catalyse systemic transformation. My activities will focus on accelerating scalable and sustainable solutions through workshops educational activities climate innovation projects and seminars that promote a change of mindset in the way we live we move we consume and we produce taking into account the different perspectives of all stakeholders.

Support the European Climate Pact with specific actions that I can carry out in my local environment based on behavioral changes. Specially I am motivated to perform engagement activities to raise awareness with first-hand actions: learning by doing and built on current social communities turned into local "climate action" communities. Actions I would like to carry out, will always look for an easy and quick replicability throughout Europe and the use of open science practices is a must.
